Baby Stolen

Last night my sims were having a party for one of the babies birthday and during the party a guest stole one of the babies. Got in a cab and left with the baby when this happen the babies pic disappeared like he was never there.
This happened 3 times before I just moved the whole family to another house.
my game never said anything about someone stealing the baby.
anyone else had this happen?

This has happened a lot, and not just with party guests. It's happened with babysitters, etc. as well. The new patch that comes out helps to stop babysitters from taking babies, but I don't know if it affects other people as well.

happened to me.
i fixed it by going to edit town: evicting the household and moving them back in again. the baby was back again magically

New patch hasn't helped this. I still have babysitters who despawn while the baby is in their arms and dump the baby somewhere far afield on my lot. It's annoying.

leaving baby on lawn =/= STEALING your baby...

so the patch worked

are you patched?

this happened me but my baby's pic didnt disappear, it stayed there as if he was still part of the family

yup am patched up to date! & have no mods :S

my friend told me to try resetSim...
