I never saw the hole last time--was it there before? I know there was a car behind a wall before--I saw that but could not figure out a way to get into that room--I never did much traps and tomb exploration so I am not familiar with all the props that go with that sort of thing.

My sim got all dirty trying to fill it in. Finally I had him stop trying to do that as he was getting really grungy and I wanted him to talk to some sims at the bar. He saw one other patron he shared a pizza with. There is now one less bouncer. More stuff to do...yay, love the video games. Still nobody on the elite lounge side.

I'm actually still in the game and in the bar. It's a really nice bar...now if only we could get more customers!

I wouldn't freak about the stutters yet...might be spawners filling it.

They are? What fish and hole?
It's a window decoration. There isn't anything to do there and I don't think Sims can do anything to the car anyway- like a post with a window. I might need a door. *See what happens when I try to do interesting*

Oh, the hole! I removed the Station and I thought a Construction hole would be suitable. It doesn't go anywhere. I couldn't find the new saw horses so used the white ones.

It should be two both gender bathrooms. There wasn't a reason to have them upstairs since I removed the Station.
And it's stuttering? I played over a week. Longest I've played since LN was released.
I'm not disbelieving you, just wish I knew what was happening.

I can always redo from the map world like I did Broken Heart.

Gads, while reading through I thought I had just spent the last few hours testing the wrong version about sums up what I felt, lol. However, I downloaded the MBC2 rar and it looks like it is the same according to date modified. Whew!

I almost popped right out of the game because I got such a kick out of the subway stations in the domes and wanted to tell you what a great idea I thought that was! You are so darn creative, it just blows me away at times.

The first couple of sim days of play were filled with short little pauses but so far, I can't find anything to account for them. Kiwi_Tea mentioned in the thread on MTS for RBH that it takes a larger population to run a world smoothly now, something I had not given much thought to until he mentioned it. Consequently, it might be possible that we may see these stutters in new empty worlds as they start populating and spawners start activating. Everything leveled off after those first couple of sim days and ran smoothly until right before I quit to post an update for you. On days 10 and 11, the little pauses have started again but not until approx. 12:30 am.

I do have Twallan's MC and Overwatch mods in and on day 10, the pauses stopped after his 3:00 am car cleanup. It's eliminating about 25 cars nightly. On day 11, though, they ran until mid-morning, so now I have to consider there may be a pathing issue I just haven't seen yet. They are 6 to 8 seconds apart but don't last but a couple of seconds. Since they are so short in duration, I don't see how they could be caused by a sim being stuck somewhere. It's more like what I was seeing before you put the door on the garages, just not as severe, thank goodness.

I'll keep looking but am glad there are multiple sets of eyes testing

I almost forgot to tell you that while I was waiting for a doctor to get off work, I moved my camera ever so slightly to the right, if you are looking at the hopital from the front. I saw what at first looked like multi-colored somethings, which turned out to be the fish window thing. Confused me because I thought the club was further right than where my camera was. I was afraid to try and delete it because if it was in the actual club, I was afriad I would really make a mess. Why don't you take a look and see what you think.

I did go over all the routing paint to make sure it's solid. Will check it again.

I will redo each house and lot just to make sure. Sometimes just checking- looking- isn't enough since this is a not a redo but a add-to world.

So, I'll pause the testing until I get it back into CAW.

Wait, if there are fish because something isn't transferring... I wonder if I'm using something I shouldn't.
Maybe I should uninstall my Stuff packs to make sure I don't use any. But there shouldn't be anything major, right?

I wasn't getting any pauses like that. Blah, I'll find it.

Don't forget to see if you see the fish in the black hole thing. When I got close enough to see what it was, I did immediately go to surface above it and the club was further away, well the exterior of the the station bldg. That's why I thought it might spread out a little underground but don't understand why all I saw was fish, no room, nothing else. Reminds me of what a tree that has fallen down below ground looks like.

EDIT - Oops, you snuck a post right by me. The fish I am seeing are the digital ones from the fish window, which you do have in the Station club.

No stutters for you at all? How far along are you? I went like 8 straight days after the initial stutters with none at all. Day 10 brought about the return and they are super short in length.

I saw the window fish from club while my Sim was in the Hospital building basement. Is that the fish?

I think I hit day nine or ten. I was waiting for the freezes the first few days and nothing. She spent time at the club also. No one else was there though. She ate, drank, danced and went home.

** The club has both male/female doors to the same bathrooms...

Yes, those are the fish. If you pop to the surface from where you see those fish, you'll see what I mean about the Station club being further to the right.

I'm baffled as to why you haven't had any stutters at all. Do you think there is any possibility this could come down to computer specs?

I did notice them but I figure it's EA. They show throw because they're a window-maybe?

I doubt it. It's got to be something I'm missing. I never did go from the fishing dome to the Science building to see that one. So, it's game play style.

I'll find it.

You're not looking alone, SS86 and I are looking, too. We'll find it. I was wondering, too, if my population might be going through a growth spurt and things will level off again. I'll keep a closer eye on demographics.

I'll start again tomorrow. I took some sinus medication about an hour ago and have suddenly sunk. Bed is calling me

Don't work too hard on this if you are tired. Sometimes the answers to problems are easier to find after a break.

Okay a new morning and new day for me. My cat, the one that has AIDS and Thyroid cancer is on a rip this morning and keeps jumping on my head. You'd never know she has such serious health issues to see her tearing around my office like she does.

I can't discount the possiblity I got a bad installation somehow. Something may have corrupted or got improperly cached. Who knows. Don't forget, I complained about stutters in the prior version yet when I removed my CC they miraculously disappeared and I had a very smooth and enjoyable test run.

There was ONE thing I noticed as I was closing out my testing in that version and that was my character went from being at the very beginning of his life phase to being about a quarter of the way through it in about 5 or 6 sim days! I have aging set to OFF at that point as I was just testing routing and stuttering and misplaced objects-- not yet trying to test for ordinary life cycle things like careers, life cycle of town--all the stuff WritinReg is checking for you in Winter Wonderland. I did have story progression turned ON, though. Only aging was off and was set to maximum anyway. I can't understand why he aged so rapidly.

There is something funky going on IMO about the lounge not having any visitors in it at all. I have celebrities in my population who should be visiting. They should be able to get past the bouncers. I may try putting a different club in before I uninstall just to see if any other people show up. It is either an EA thing or there's something amiss with your club. I would like to find out which is the case. I'm going back into my current install one more time to see if the stuttering is still there.

Just to let you know what I'm doing...back in the town continuing from last night. Still had the stutters a bit and put my sim to bed. Now I'm adding Aquarius Club, The Grind, and some Fusion club from Bridgeport I can't remember at the moment. I also put in one apartment, the glass tower. The apartment is so NPC's for the clubs can have some place to live.

I had noticed in Bridgeport all the bar staff seemed to reside in the actual town in the apartment units that aren't available for us to move into. You can ring their bells and get them to answer and befriend them that way. In this way NPC's differ a bit from when they used to just disappear as homeless sims.

I'm wondering if the stuttering is from any lack of housing for the bar NPC's. I have no idea if that is possible or not. Just in case, I'm experimenting. BTW, the Bridgeport buildings look really at home on Moon Base. I chose the glass apartment building for that reason--very modern and space-y.

Anyway now I will test the venues (clubs and bars) to see if they get patronized by more than only one sim every couple of sim days, as had been happening before. OH I also imported a couple of sims from Brdidgeport. One is a five star celebrity named Hamming and one is a vampire with red hair.

Thanks, SS.

I am planning on removing the Club and see how it goes. Putting down a new lot all together.

The stuttering did subside shortly after everything was in place. I have not yet been back to your club, though. I took my sim to Banzai Lounge from Bridgeport that I had placed...can't remember where but it's next to the junkyard. Nobody and I mean nobody was in the club but staff. I was even trying to bring a companion--Beau the Vampire, but he did not follow my sim from the Diner building and I got a nasty comment saying it was a bad outing and why did you invite me out if we're not going to do anything...and got a negative moodlet because of it. My sim had taken the subway to the lounge and Beau did not follow for whatever reason. He works at the mortuary so maybe he had to get to work around that time. I don't know.

Do try placing some of the Bridgeport buildings into Moon Base just to see what it looks like and let me know what you think. I think they look amazing on the moon--much better than in Bridgeport, even! I have tried placing Bridgeport buildings on other worlds including Longview with no aesthetic success, but I think they look most at home and fit in best right there on the moon because the terrain scaping that comes with the buildins matches the terrain paint of the moon. It does look like a nice spaceport. The LLama stadium that comes with Bridgeport is itself somewhat of a dome so if you ever want to use it on your moon it would fit in with the theme.

Okay, sounds like an idea.

The Dome Stadium, I will try that.

My Sim did met up at the club with her boss and they had a group outing or whatever it's called now. They had a great time. I don't know if it was because they met there or what.
I'm going in... wish me luck.

I'm getting ready to start testing again, too. I just played another world for a sim day that I knew was lag free to be sure nothing was up with my game in general. It ran perfectly so now it's on to the moon

I'm not getting stutters in the club while my sim is actually present on the lot, btw. Mine are as described in earlier posts, starting in the middle of the night now and pausing and looking around hasn't revealed anything to account for them.

SS86, I think the idea of the Bridgeport stadium sounds kinda cool. I've wondered how one or two high rises might look with the crain around. Sort of like a "space travel is now successful and the moon is under full development" plot. I haven't put any in, though. I think it's better to be sure what is there is all working correctly.

I'm lovin the new moon world and am so happy it is back in game. It's worth all the testing!
