apartment life and the one we have in sims 3 are not the same in apartment life, we have landlords, we can bang on the wall when the neighbours are being noisy. late night or whatever is called is a ep with the option of high rise buildings that act just like houses.

I don't think they'll make seasons just yet, most peoples graphic cards can't even take pets, seasons is going to take much more then what pets did!

Agreed and when they do make seasons they need to test it with a lot of videocards. They didn't do that with pets.

I have late night and I do love the apartments but they are not as good as the ones in sims 2 apartment life.

I miss being able to move multiple families into apartments and visiting neighbors. I also miss the block parties that the tennets would have every Saturaday and the Landlord.

I do however like that the elevators in late night play the sims 1 music thou in the background.

Can someone explain why the graphic cards can't take weather when we had weather in sims2? What's the difference now?

Wait, Mallie is still here? I thought she got banned? And if he is a "dum bo" because he didn't know buy Late Night, why does he have Late Night registered on his page?

Anyways, I'll agree, I do like the apartments, but I feel like we didn't get the full Apartment experience.

Also, EA Russia confirmed that Seasons is not next. After Showtime, I wouldn't mind a university type pack.

It hasn't been confirmed that graphic cards can't handle weather, but I'm pretty sure that if Seasons comes out, come cards won't be compatible. I think it is because of the open neighborhood. When you think about it, in Sims 2, it would only rain/snow on that specific lot. In Sims 3, it would have to rain/snow on every lot in the neighborhood at the same time, which would probably fry our poor computers.

They should just give the seasons because pretty soon the internet will explode with all the seasons topics, and i'm a part of them! I really want seasons. would just be great, but yeah, i'm hearing too much of this 'showtime' thing.. doesn't sound interesting... I cant wait a whole year!!

Thank You! That makes sense.

The Sims 3 requirement-wise has absolutely no relation to The Sims 2 in any way. TS3 is a newer and much more graphically demanding game than TS2 was.

You should stop going on and on about computers not being able to handle it. By making some graphical settings for weather, you can choose how good weather effects are to be seen... Like that mist around your town, if you have low settings.
They should just make it without glitches. Altough I agree it might need better gfx cards...

Um, if you're talking to me, what do you mean? This is like, the first time I've really ever brought up Graphics cards, I don't think I even mentioned them when Pets came out. And knowing EA's track record, do you really think they would make something like that? It's possible, but not plausible. If anything, I'm sure someone like Twallan would probably make a mod to reduce weather. Not to be a negative Nathan, but I really think EA wants us to buy better graphics cards. It's too much "work" to go the extra mile and work around the lower end graphic cards.
