Can you think of someone else, as pnoles has already been done?!

Happy B'day!

I was lurking on a thread about whether or not to play Sims by the rules. Seeing your thread about aging, I realized that the thing I like most about aging is almost the same as how I like to play sims.

I'd like to nominate myself and dark5id3.

As an old woman I get to bend rules, and sometimes make up entirely new ones as I go along. Plus, drum roll here, I especially like that later I don't feel guilty about what I've decided.

What I like most about aging is the freedom to be myself, and enjoy being me without regrets.

Understand grandma better. Google the poem "Warning! When I'm An Old Lady I Shall Wear Purple" by Jenny Joseph and ENJOY. It gives you something to look forward to.

. . . And it perfectly describes the aspect of aging which I treasure the most.

Blessings,
MissCee

I totally agree, it's not that you don't care about things, for me it's that I don't care what people think of what I'm doing!! I will definitely google that poem.

Edit: That is one of the best poems ever!! I already love purple, (I'll have to get a red hat) and that's what I'm doing, I'm just having a little practice right now!!

I'm on the fence about aging. It's obviously nice to be old enough to do fun adultey stuff without supervision but then there's the wrinkles! All I have to say is that I guess I enjoy aging, you learn a lot of things about yourself along the way and you have the ability to look back and see how much you've grown as a person. It does scare me though, I was born in 1989 and I'm so used to this mentality that everyone born in 1990-1995 is a baby (I can't explain it) but when I think about it, most of them are already young adults

I can't seem to load anyone's WL, keep getting errors, but I'd like to nominate Koko_popsicle (I think he still has a WL), mosneakers and SciFiWarlock.

Forgot to add, Happy Birthday! <3

I would love to enter! And to also nominate... ANNAPTX.

What I like about getting older is that I had my "mid-life crisis" in my late 20's...and now I know what NOT to do. Age does bring wisdom and content.

I haven't read through all the posts yet to see what everyone had to say, but I read a few and am intrigued so I plan to go back and do that.

I also saw that LONG list of nominees and have no idea who is and who isn't already on here. But I'll take a shot at a couple of nominations anyway and hope I hit an empty spot.

What I like about getting another year older is that I have learned to chill out. I used to stress so much over everything. But I have learned that there is very little in our lives we can control and we may as well just relax a little, manage what we can and have a first aid kit ready for the inevitable.

Yeah, stuff happens. So getting all stressed over what is happening, or what may happen or what may not happen -- well, it's just not worth it.

Plan well. Make good decisions. Take what comes and do with it what you can.

Chillax!

My nominations (hopefully I'll get lucky and nominate someone not already on that list)

Good things about aging?

I guess all the things you are able to go and do. Travelling places with your friends without your parents is a wonderful thing and I do enjoy being able to drink alcohol, responsibly of course.

As I've gotten older I worry less about how I look and dress, don't get me wrong still have bad hair days but not as offen, so I guess confidence is truly the best part of aging.

I would like to enter myself, brandi22 and Mewlyar

What I like about getting older (especially since i'm only a teenager) is being one step farther in life. And especially since i'm in high school, it means i'm one (small) step closer to graduating and starting a new chapter in my life. And being a year older means you've gained a whole new year's experience of life. Like once I turn seventeen this fall, i'll know what it's like to be sixteen and i'll know what that chapter in life is like. So, to sum it up, a step farther and experience is what i like gaining when i get a year older. \

oh, and just nominating myselff.

Happy Birthday!

One thing I realized after I turned 30 in February is that I care less about what people think of me! I have embraced my geeky-ness that I have been trying to unsuccessfully hide since I was a kid. I am much happier now because of that!

I triple checked, but if someone has already been nominated and I missed it, please let me know!

I would like to nominate...

What I like most about aging is the greater sense of stability; I feel like I've found most of what I was looking for, whereas when I was younger, I was wracked by longing and uncertainty. What I like least is the loss - I lost my father two years ago and I know the time will be coming for my mother. I'm just trying to enjoy every moment I have with the people I love.

I'd like to nominate myself, jmelo777, and tristarin. Thanks for hosting!

Happy Birthday! In fact, I hate getting older and I don't want to grow up but I like that I know more things than I did a year before. And on my next birthday I'll know even more things.

I'd like to enter and nominate kezza11178 and Nika127. Thank you for hosting!!!

Let's see, I guess an advantage of growing older might be: getting a senior discount at many establishments. Sorry, all I can think of LOL

THanks for hosting and Happy Birthday! **HUGS**

I'd like to nominate:

LoveEvi
becciburt

THanks gr1zzly for the nomination. **HUGS**

EDIT: Sorry LoveEvil has no WL...so can I change her nomination to "Blythelyre" please
