I think I have like 90% of the store content and with the exception of a few things I got when I first starting simming, everything has been a sale purchase. I've also purchased almost everything in full sets because it's way cheaper that way. I have a few odds and ends I bought singles because I didn't want the whole set.

I think part of the reason it's hard for me to wait for a good deal is because there are things on my wishlist like the "Everyday Cool Summer Nights" that I've wanted since it came out over a year ago.

I had the opportunity to finally buy points and I could easily buy a set I've wanted for over a year now instead of having to wait even more for even a slight possibility of the set going on sale and I'm on my computer to get it.

I almost always wait for a sale when I buy store stuff & simpoints since it is much more affordable that way. It is hard at times thought when I see a set I really want or new world come out. Luck Palms looks like a lot of fun. Right now it is easier since I don't have very many simpoints. Hopefully there will be some big simpoint sales when the holidays come at the end of the year. I have been gifting small things to others since I don't have many left and it is so fun to brighten someones day. It is much easier to buy something at full price for someone else but when it is for me I wait for sales. I find I do that in my everyday life too.

It's always easier to forget about the Store when you don't have points. This is the first time I've actually been able to buy stuff and man does it take a lot out of me haha

I saw the "Diva and Divo" Set in the DD and felt like I should buy it because it was a set in the DD which in my opinion is pretty rare (unless it has animals all over it... ) haha

There's been very few times I grabbed something right away. I almost always wait for the sale. And I look at every item in the set & decide if I like them all or not. If not, I'll check and see if it's cheaper to just buy the pieces I want.

Sometimes it is, and sometimes the set goes on sale for cheaper than the total of the few pcs I want.

Like the new Date Night set. It's like 1300 or something, but the outfits I really want would only be like 600 pts. So I stick them on my wish list and wait. If the set comes around for 600 or less, I'll snap it up. If it only goes as low as 800 pts, I just watch for the individual items.

I did end up getting the "Everyday Casual Chic" Set! I've wanted it since it came out like a year ago haha

I'm now waiting to see if the "Show Stopping Styles" Set goes on sale for a price I can afford... Doubt it will go any lower than 1,000 though haha

I think you're right about the Show-Stoppers.

I've been watching for the Hewnsman Bedroom for ages, and I'd love to see the new Goth sets (without the tablet) and the Fiesta Kitchen (with the 2 pc items).

Yay, you got it! It's a great feeling when your patience finally pays off.

I've got about 4 sets on my wishlist that I'm waiting for sales on. I'm hoping most of all for a generous sale on More Magic, since that is so expensive to begin with. I think I will have a loooooong wait for the Cirque Esprit set, cos it's only just come out. But maybe it will go on a good sale over Christmas. I love looking on here at Christmas time!

I only buy on sale or at the early bird discounts when stuff comes out. I've even bought almost all of my games half off on Amazon haha. I got into the store at the same time the one responder was speaking of, when I picked up Kids 2010 and Best of 2010 for super cheap. I stopped playing after that for awhile but got back into it when showtime/KP came out.

I watch the daily deals closely but I don't work right now so have a lot of time. When I'm out I usually watch the DD on my cell phone and can purchase from there if I want something haha.

The two things I REALLY want right now is the April 2012 compilation (the beautiful India sets and my favorite in the game at the moment, the fabulous fiesta items!!) and that new date night clothing set. I think the clothes are awesome. I skipped the Cirque set so I'll probably pick up date night if nothing better comes out.

Same I'm absolutely dying for the ice cream machine and the fryer haha!!! Fat sims FTW lolol

I heard that they constantly use them and gain weight like crazy haha That doesn't really bother me though because for some reason my Sims almost never gain weight.
