No Soft crash to desktop when Time Machine un-mounts a network drive (still confirming this one).

Zoomier speeds 2 and 3. Notably zoomier!

I'm actually a little scared of speed 3... my sim's shower broke (yes I put it on 3 just to see) and I missed it till later, lol.

Too fast for ya, Scraver?

Yeah, I had an incident where my evil thug sim was arrested (by her husband's BOSS no less!) and she was in the pokey playing dominos for an hour before I caught it!

lol. I wouldn't say too fast <.< maybe I'm just too used to doing other things at the same time, like watching tv or chatting on my other comp, or getting up and walking away from things.

Hehe

Yes, I have to admit the patch has delivered as promised. Although I now need the disk again as the patch has cancelled out the no-CD patch I was using, it has also removed the reason I was using it - the 'Disk Authorization Failure' problem.

Now it loads and finds the disk without problems. It also speeds up properly in the higher speeds. Thankyou EA.

Now we just need:

Pets, diving boards, doors with round tops to match the windows, hot tubs.......

Well, all I can say is that you're very, very lucky if you haven't hit one of the countless bugs I've run up against. A couple of the dozens: Can't access the warehouse (found an external fix for that), Maids stuck in a loop (not yet found a fix for that), constant gloomy days as there is no sun in the Mac version and the graphics **** as a consequence... Anti-aliasing missing...

I could go on. None of these were fixed by Patch 1.2.7.2, so, don't say patch DOES deliver when it quite obviously doesn't.

Nope, it obviously does deliver on what they addressed in this patch.

Now if they said they were going to fix the AA and shadow issues and they didn't work, then you could say that.

The 1.2.7.2 patch actually CREATED a 'Disk Authorization Failure' error on my iMac. I have a Matsh*ta UJ-875 DVD drive, the game worked fine with the prior patch (except with a broken launcher which caused the downloads to not work).

Now I have my free town installed but the game won't run due to the Disk failure... /sigh
