Thank you love I think i remember a similar door, but i'm not 100% sure
I have good news, great news and awesome news. What you want to hear first?
Good news : Currently uploading World Test File
Great News : also uploading updated save file for testing for those that want to give it a go
Awesome news : Updated save file ( you know the one with the population that i provided with the first version of the world) seems to be working fine with the updated world file. Loading fine, no flashing lots etch. We only need to test if it works as it should (simpotrted sims, performances etch)
links will be posted on the first page once the files are up
ETA: forgot to mention: Tangie that is the issue with the props i had in this venue too, especially with the ones at the front. I had to change camera angles and move the mouse a lot before it actually let me place them and make them snap where they should. No idea why.
ETA 2 : More Great News -- Test files are up

Gem, this is terrific! You made me LOL with how happy you are.
I am downloading the world file as I type. I'm finally back home - I pretty much gave up trying to play on my laptop last night. I don't think I'm going to be able to play much other than maybe small worlds on it with all the EPs installed. I tried taking out what I thought was the door on the smustling pony lot and installing it but a thumb nail for the lot never showed and the cursor spun and spun when I tried to place it in town, until I finally quit with task manager.
Thanks everyone for the good wishes and Happy Passover and Easter from me to those who celebrate, also.

Well after a day of nerve breaking, tantrums, nearly crying, and banging my head on the wall, I think that finally managing to load the darn thing would make anyone jump up and down ( i almost literally did) and the fact that the solution was so easy , makes things even more sillier
lets just hope that everything works fine with the files as i have till Thursday to mess with it. Thursday i have to make easter cookies and dye the eggs, and i'm leaving on Friday for a week again.
I'll be testing the save file tomorrow. It does load ok and there are no flashing lots or anything but i want to make sure that routing and sims are intact , that there is no mysterious lag or freezing and that the new venues work as the are supposed to in it. That's why i uploaded the save file as well. Anyone who wants to help testing it is more than welcome

Of course; I was laughing with you, not at you. Very, very happy that you got it to work, as that had to be beyond frustrating.
I don't usually use save files, but I will test as much as I can tonight. I may also be able to test some after work this coming week, but that is never a sure thing, sadly.
Off to download the save file now!

Woot, I'm doing the happy dance for you, Gem! I am so happy you conquered the CAW problems.
I just got home from dinner and a movie with our oldest son and his family. I'll download the new world and start testing for a bit. I'm going to just start with the world itself.
WR, if you peek in, I don't think Gem would mind if you tested without mods in. I would actually love for you to do so. It would make it easier to see, if a problem is encounered, whether or not it might be mod related. I think it's a good counter balance to those of us testing with mods in.
I'll be quiet now and download the new, ST updated world.

Ditto, Mods are not essential if you want to test. I only wanted MC so we could cheat the lvl of the performers to simport, but that seems to be unnecessary too, as it turns out it worked just as fine without it. And OW to kill a few bugs that Twallan has managed to iron out. But if someone is in the mood to test, is more than welcome , even without the mods.

Awesome! I'm downloading the test file right now. Do we need to uninstall the first Cove?
I'll try to test it, but I make no promises. I have chronic, immune-based hives and haven't been doing well this weekend. (I was in the emergency room twice, in two days. Just got home about 2 hours ago; really groggy).
BTW, I was populating the first Cove recently and noticed some homes still have floating picture frames. I don't remember the addresses, but I'll try to get in there and figure that out for you.

Love : I hope you feel better soon.
I think the Gelding ranch was left with a floating picture frame. But if you find any more let me know.
You need to unninstal the previous version of CC for this one to install.
Thank you xBanan
I'll be testing the save file for now. I'm a bit tense though as we have my grandma in the hospital once more, so i might be on and off until she gets back home.

Yahoo Gem, you sound so bubbly. I will try to dl your new ST cove and I will try to also dl the save file a little later this AM. Sounds exciting. I will play it while I am doing this huge laundry today. By the way I noticed on the font page that you had me patched at 1.29, I am now up to date and of course have ST, but I do no use mods. Don't use the online/ interactive aspects of the game so no hosting for me. Testing this new version will take the tedium out of doing laundry and will liven up my day. Thank you for uploading this.

Gem, I just dl'd both the ST CC and the save file so will be testing in just a little while. I will check out the big show venue as I have the limited edition and see what it looks like. Any spots you would like me to concentrate on? Be happy to do it.
I hope your grandmother feels better very soon. Hugs

Gem, I got the world installed last night but just placed some sims and am switching houses to those I know are fresh out of CAS binned to set up jobs to jump-start population. In the process, one of the males found, wooed and married a level 7 magician. That was nice
I have a repairman here now but will be able to play later today. I hope your grandmother is okay. Don't worry about being on and off, family needs to come first.
Love, hope you feel better. Don't forget to delete the old world cache files when uninstalling the old world. LOL, that's a step I have to remind myself of, over and over.

Kristenjean, do you have the Ultimate Show Venue that came with the Limited Ed or KP versions of Showtime? If you don't have it that might be why it is not showing up properly.
Played the saved game about two hours last night and all went well. Haven't played performers with a high enough level to test venues though. I also found floating pic frames above the side tables of the master bedroom in the red and black apt out by the HS salon.
Hope your grandmother feels better soon!
