I smile, "Go on and stroke her head. She'll like it."

I stroke her head.

Nyria
Nyria had also noticed that the woman seemed to be pregnant, but did not comment. Saying that she was lucky to have made it, no matter how genuine the feeling, didn't seem to be the most tactful way to approach it.
She noticed also, that Arden seemed to have been upset by something. But once more, she did not comment. It could be easy to guess what someone might be upset about- assuming it was the loss of someone- and that was a subject she didn't really want to bring up, and not from lack of care.

Apzen
Surprisingly, at least to Nyria, the girl dared to leave Nyria's side, something having caught her eye. She watched as the eagle Arden had was fed a piece of meat, and actually smiled.
"Pretty bird."

Arden

I laugh as Nivera leans her head towards Andie. She sarts closing her eyes. I swear that if Nivera were a cat, that she would be purring. "I think she likes you."

Arden

I look down at the little voice. Apzen. "Thank you." I smile at her. "Do you want to pet her?" I ask.

Andie
I smile.

Kadaj

I yelp as Sepiroth throws me into another wall..

Apzen
Apzen looked from Nyria, back at Arden. "Can I?"
"Go ahead." Nyria allowed.
The girl had enough to fear, without making her think she should fear the bird also. And Nyria liked to believe that her daughter was a resilient as she believed herself to be.

Arden

I clicked my tongue and Nivera flew off Andie's arm and landed on mine. I kneel down so that I am at Apzen's level. "Go on. I promise you that she won't bite." I say with a smile.

Apzen only hesitated for a moment, before she smiled and reached carefully to pet the bird's head, smiling a little wider as her hands touched the soft feathers.
