Please stop forcing heterosexual relationships on my sims!

That would be funny though, if the censoring thing just exploded. And nothing was censored. =P

I can see trouble if the censors came offline!

If the whole censor system failed, I could see people swearing their brains out over this forum. And I'd sit laughing about how people think they're so tough for swearing over the internet. x]

I don't really understand what people are talking about censored? In Sims 2 I had both lesbian and gay couples who got married, not to mention they dressed up and one got a pretty ring.

Anyways, I think marriage in general is getting censored in Sims 3. It is kind of special that any of my sims have been able to get another pregnant before they were in a relationship or married to another. I have only been able to get one Sim married and it was with cheating (make all happy) and a day and a half of making out and flirting.

Why is it so hard to get married? Why can you knock up half the town but not date two girls at once? It is ridiculous!!!

THIS is GAY. Just because your gay doesn't mean every sim in your town has to be. If you want, you can make your sims ****, but that to me is pretty stupid. Some automatically are **** too. Just not a lot. and thats how it really is too. there really aren't very many ***** compared to all the heterosexuals out there, so just turn off story progression or free will if you don't wan't your sims to be straight, but I really think people should stop complaining about stuff like

MY SIM ISN'T GAY!

and

My sim's **** are too small!

and other crap like that and just enjoy the freakin game. and if you don't like it, don't play it.

Yeah. I've had the same problem except completely opposite. I rarely talk to males and then I got a goal to kiss a male that was barely even my friend.

Well I have story progression on and Micheal Bachelor became gay all on his own. First he asexually had a baby clone with himself, and now he has a boyfriend.

Sims with the inappropriate trait can randomly kiss people of any gender, as long as it's not an "appropriate" moment to kiss them. Maybe that would be a quick way to change your sim's orientation? I dunno, I'm just speculating.

Straights, and gay sims. Come on people, the whole idea is to make the sims world as real as possible. It is a fact that there are some gay guys in our reality who have a best friend who is female. And it is the same for the gay girls too. Some of them have a best fiend who is a guy. I mean, why do you think that this comes up on today's tv shows, and movies? So basicly there is nothing wrong with sims sexual preference in the sims. It just makes the sims' world that much more realistic, and that's what we simmers really want. Take a minute out, and ask your selves this one simple question. Do you want to see your sims in a more realistic world, or not? I will give you my real answer. I want my sims in a world that's realistic as possible. In real life, I am straight.

I'm with you Simdo in as much as I want my Sims to be as realistic as possible!!!

A lot of people playing dont seem to realise the significance of the traits they have given their Sims these have a very big influence on your Sims behaviour which is the whole point.

People appear to expect Sims3 to to be better on the one hand but play exactly the same as Sims2 DOH!

I have a gay sim in my first game who married a straight sim after he upped and left his wife..... . Pretty real to me.

I have another male sim who keeps getting the come on from both partners from a straight couple living next door....

So they must be Bi-sexual. (of which there are a far greater number in real life than most people care to admit)

Funny that you dont hear any Bisexuals complaining about the Sims

I too believe that homosexual relationships should be implimented in the game. The Sims is supposed to be a game where your characters have all sorts of freedom, so why not the freedom of homosexuallity?

hmmm well all I know is, I recently had my Sims daughter move out of the house to play her, leaving her elderly parents to their own lives, letting the game control them. A few Sim weeks later, the father dies of old age and when the daughter came to visit her mother, she had another woman living in the house, which I assume was her partner.

I was like WTF? Not that I have issues with that but I was not expecting that at all. I thought our sims didn't go that route unless we nudged them in that direction. So your game might be turning your gay sims straight, but mine is taking straight sims and making them gay. Quite randomly and almost realistically. I have heard of old people suddenly coming out the closet when their spouses pass on...just funny it happened in my game.
This is when having a memory system in the game would be good.

My Same-Sex Sim couple adopted a son, twice. Both turned out gay themselves.

Coincidence, or...? Note, I didn't MAKE them have boyfriends and so on. It just happened that way.
