Just following up a bit to gush. This town, Johnny, and all your lots are gorgeous.

I filled up almost all the empty lots with the houses in your studio, then put all the Hidden Springs sims in and... "went to town". (Sorry for the horrible pun.)

Yep, the Fountain of Youth is perfect up in Two Birch Pond. I had to move some flowers, but no big deal. (Um, what was a lettuce plant doing there? Just curious.)

Honestly, it makes me miss North Carolina very much.

Just wanted to say that I found this thread by pure luck yesterday, and I'm so glad I did. I've been searching for the perfect world for my story/legacy sims to flee to for a while now and was close to giving up till I found this.
This world is incredible, and it's absolutely perfect for what I need.
Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into making it.

Johnny have you seen the season trailer?
Great Bear is going to be perfect for it. I can see my sims swimming already in the river, or snow on the mountains!
How are you doing btw?

Thanks guys, I`m just glad you are enjoying Great Bear.

Hi DutchySim. Yeah, I recently watched the Seasons trailer and felt all gooey and warm inside. I`m a dyed-in-the-wool Seasons fan, and it wouldn`t take much to make me punch the air in slow motion (especially when I found out sims will be able to swim in the ocean). I have to say, I`m really looking forward to Seasons, perhaps more than any other Sims 3 EP.
I`m just so curious to see how the changing seasons will affect the worlds I have either created or downloaded. It`s kinda exciting.

I`m doing okay, DutchySim. Summer has been a total wash-out up here in Scotland. It seems Scottish cities and the Scottish tourist board in general has been "informed" to promote the London Olympics instead of promoting anything Scottish. Nice work and job done for London and South east England, apathy or raised eyebrows everywhere else this side of the border, it seems.

Anyways, I`ve just been working away these last few months on a new world with a working title of Cape Garner Island. I don`t know what to do with it? I posted some pics on my Johnnywr Mypage blog here. So, there you go. That`s been me

ooohhhh, I just ran over to your blog to check out what you're up to. I was just wondering the other day if you were working on something new. I've heard that CAW is addictive.

LOVE the screenies. And I already own most of the Store so I do hope you'll consider sharing your 'me, me, me' world when it is done since it looks perfect for me, me, me!

Besides you're one of my favorite world creators. I can't wait to see Great Bear in all of the seasons! But especially fall and winter.

Segrius I really like this house, could I maybe get it from you?

Also geminiagre where did your Sim get that Butterfly Tat? I really like how it looks on here and would like it for my Sims.

Johnnywr thankyou for updating to Showtime I can not wait to play.

It's probably something on my end but I'm not sure. I did a clean install of The Sims 3 again and re-downloaded all your other worlds and Great Bear was the only one that kept crashing back to my desktop. I'm so sad.

Tangie

Illyianna2005, hope you like the Showtime Version.

Gillie, I honestly don`t understand why Great Bear might cause a crash to desktop. Maybe try one of the different versions of Great Bear on the first page of this thread to see if either one of those versions plays as it should.
Fingers crossed for you.

JohnnyWr - Ditto what Tangie said - my same thoughts entirely - so no sense repeating. hehehe

Well look at the Olympics over Scottish Tourism as such - London may have the Olympics for now but Scotland has that gorgeous country forever and no offense to the Brits for sure, there is nothing more lovely or people any nicer and friendlier than the Scots. And happy - i swear the Scots need to can that inner joy and robust laughter they all seem to have and hand it out to the world. I tell you it is always a lovely experience when ever my hubbies Scottish family members visit the USA and drop in for a visit. I swear I grin from ear to ear for weeks after they have left - they are such happy people. The pictures I see of their area is just breathtaking. Everybody in the pics are always just honestly smiling and laughing - they are most definitely not posed... and that my friend is a whole lot better than having the Olympics for a couple weeks. Scottland sells itself just being.

I smiled so much last night when I saw your blog, Johnny. Knew you had to be doing somethin', apart from eating Hunky Dorys of course.

Ah... the Olympics will be over soon, Johnny. Then things will get back to normal. I feel sorry for Scotland and Wales, when everyone thinks of UK it's instantly Queen & Tea, and that is typically English, really Heart goes out to Wales though ... I mean, Scotland has the lochs, Nessy, kilts, bagpipes... Wales has ... Just joking, but they are forgotten a lot

Speaking of the Olympics, some British paper named Katie Taylor a British Boxer. Everyone over here was going mad! She's going for Gold today, maybe one of just a few chances to even get a medal (Cian O Connor did good yesterday though in Horseriding) and the cheek of British papers to call her British, when she is Irish! It seems all our finest exports go British ... actors, musicians, writers... sad, really

Anyway, sorry for that off-topic mess - Cape Garner Island looks fantastic

Johnny, your new world looks fantastic!
Sorry I am just replying, I missed your reply somehow.

Sounds very English, they always try to ignore the Scots. I haven't watched much from the Olympics, mostly hockey and our girls won. Yippee! I use to watch ice skating, but I am just not a sports woman so I missed that.

I am glad you and your family are fine and can't wait to see more pictures of you new world!

Oh Johnny I am so excited about Seasons. That was my favorite EP for Sims2 and I have also been waiting for it since Sims3 came out. Your worlds are perfect for Seasons . They will all be fantastic. You and Conor, I think know how I feel about Scotland and Ireland. I am so glad the Olympics are over. I am very happy for all those who won but also for all of them who were able to participate, but enough already. My hubby said he saw something about Scotland going to try for independence. Is that so? I know I have heard hints of that off and on for years, but is it getting serious now.? Wales does get overlooked. I checked out your blog and do hope you will share your new world Cape Garner. My grandparents took my brother and me up to Vancouver Island when we were teens and it was so very beautiful. I just know your new world will be breathtaking. I am just not excited about the SN EP. I think the only reason I might buy it , is if my granddaughter is interested in playing it.
