2: Nope.
I currently have a Genie/Vampire Hybrid in my game (child at the moment). She is blue, floats like a Genie, has the slept like the dead moodlet after she wakes and has the want vampires do when their thirst is down.

I might be wrong, but I love life states so I like to know a lot about them.
Hybrids are definitely not in unfortuanetly, excluding the ghost and zombie hybrids, (but the zombie life state overrides their old life state for as long as they are a zombie, I think). They exist in some small form already, but it's a glitch.
Genies can be made in CAS as they can be heavily customised and be at any life stage - toddler, child, teen, etc. IFs are not included as they work in a weird way and Unicorns might be, we just haven't seen Create A Pet in SN. Probably not, but if you save a unicorn in Create A Pet through testingcheatsenabled, you can already get them straight out of Create A Pet, apparently. SimBots and Mummies are quite plain and only at certain stages, e.g. SimBots can only be (Young) Adults.

Hope that you can answer this. This new EP comes with a new world. I was wondering if there is a new drop down feature on the part of the launcher where you decide what world to choose to play. Between the worlds with the games, those bought in store, and downloaded from the exchange, I have too many worlds and it cuts off at the bottom of the list and you can't see the full list. I had to get rid of some exchange worlds just to see Sunset Valley. Now with the new world I will have to erase again.
This is also a new concern with venues.
Question is if the new game has drop down menues for the worlds and venues?

SimBots are elders if I'm not mistaken.

How will the zombies needs work? And would they age at all?
Also, I saw in the live chat that the manwitch had a purple bar under his picture, what's with that?

Are they? I only grouped them at that age because they stand up straigt when they walk. Either way, they have one life stage.

Sorry, I realize my last post was quite long so I'll try to keep this one brief. Can a witch/wizard also be a vampire or werewolf? I know it was mentioned that there would be no hybrids but does that really count? It would be nice if you could get that at least. Also, do supernaturals have a tendency to dislike certain other supernaturals, i.e. vampires and werewolves? And is there a trait strictly for supernaturals that makes them hate normal sims?
Again, I apologize for my last post but I will probably do more long-winded ones, I'm just so excited!

Ya, its a collection book I believe.
I only noticed it on the witch sim. It could possibly be a spellbook of some kind
I don't believe its a spellbook, mostly because it was also with the werewolf. But don't quote me on that l0l
Also, if u watch the live chat at 24:27, I think, if u pause it the mouse went over it and "Collection journal" was the name that showed, but i can be wrong it was blurry.

Hi Simmers! Wow, thanks for sending through all these amazing questions. We’d like to give a shout out to SimGuru_Karsky for kicking off this thread and answering the first batch of questions.
As we weren’t able to answer all your questions, we want to revisit this thread and do our best to get some more information out to you all.
In order to get the most information out in a timely manner, we thought it best to respond to one topic at a time. Today, we are focused on answering your questions about werewolves in the game. That’s where I come in. As the werewolf producer for The Sims 3 Supernatural, I’m here to answer all your queries about this supernatural in the game.
If you’re still hungry for more werewolves after reading these responses, then I encourage you to check out the community blog I just posted http://www.thesims3.com/community/blog.html?blogid=433893
Since we’re from the development team, we are really focused on making the game, so we’ll do our best to keep answering more of your questions as soon as possible. We’ll be posting responses to more topics in the days to come, so look for additional follow-ups to this thread.
Thanks again for all your questions.
1. How exactly does the Lycanthropy skill work? How do you work it up, and how does it help you?
Answer - The Lycanthropy skill levels up behind the scenes. This happens automatically, when you do virtually anything as a werewolf. Your quickest path to a high Lycanthropy skill is to send your werewolf out on lots of hunts. There are many benefits to a higher Lycanthropy skill. A couple of the most powerful are the ability to perform Cursed Bites and spread the werewolf curse, along with the ability to hunt for specific collectibles.
2. IGN mentioned that werewolves could choose to be a "protector" of other Sims who don't want to be turned. Can you explain more on how that works?
Answer - While not specific to just the werewolf, supernatural Sims can offer to protect other Sims. This enters them into a Protector / Protected relationship. From that point forward, the Protected Sim will feel safer, less afraid, and have the ability to call the Protector to come to their rescue.
3. Will a werewolf toddler transform on the full moon?
Answer - Werewolf toddlers do not transform, but they can scratch, howl and practice hunting.
4. Is it only collectibles that werewolves can hunt?
Answer - Yes, werewolves only hunt for gems, metals and insects.
5. Can a pregnant Werewolf still transform?
Answer - Werewolf Sims cannot transform while they're pregnant.
6. If you can make werewolves look more like wolves (hairy face too)?
Answer - Absolutely, in Create A Sim you have the ability to customize the look of your transformed werewolf. Here are a few of the things you can control:
• Adjust skin tone
• Select body hair and body hair color
• New adjustments to nose shape
• New adjustments to ear shape
• Create a snarl
• Create an under-bite

Can the checkboxes to control the different states be set seperately in each neighbourhood or is it a universal setting for all neighbourhoods at once .
Also it would make more sense for the gurus to post their replies on the first page instead of us having to scroll through page after page looking for a post with a gurus name on it just to read the replies

SMILE . You may not realise how bad everything is. But it sure annoys all the grumpy people and makes you feel better .

SimGuruJon,
Cool! But I didn't notice any facial hair for female werewolves, and the only facial hair for males I saw so far are beards. Is there more that wasn't implemented during the first live chat?

LizNuique wrote:Hmm about the vampires still having to ask to bite you....if you think about this a large portion of simmers around the world are children. If vampires didn't ask and bit people's sims that might scare the kiddies XDD So EA has to keep that in mind when making their eps. This game is played worldwide by every age group despite there being a Teen rating.
Although I'm a little bummed that vampires have to ask I understand why EA did that. It they really took inspiration from the old stories the Sims 3 would be alot darker and the rating would be raised. They have to keep it down at Teen while retaining quirkiness for both children and adults.
Hey I don't mean to be rude or anything so please don't take this the wrong way, but I think you got it wrong. For one, most of the game ea makes is shoot em ups. Many children play those even though it's raited T or M. I think that would be more likely to scare kids lol.
But you know what doesn't make sense? There's a LTW for werewolves to bite whomever but not vampires. Does that like kinda confuse anyone or is that just me? Haha.
But thank you gurus for answering out questions!
