Hello everyone,

As it will be the new year soon, I think it's time to bring back some of my old contests and start a new one! This one is a special one and is based off of the teaser of the new Steampunk Kitchen Set coming next Thursday.





I would love for anyone to create and enter their own steampunk-style home. There are a few rules applied to it, but I'm sure anyone can participate and comply with them.

Rules:

1. Must be newly built home, not a re-create or old creation.
2. Steampunk Style Home, please refer to the store section and google for steampunk looks
3. Custom Content and Patterns are ALLOWED. This is to provide creativity and obviously we are lacking steampunk items too, so they are allowed and you may use them as you wish. I don't plan on downloading any due to some lag created in my game, but I do allow it in competitions ^_^
4. Store Content EP's/SP's items are allowed
4. Must include: 2 bedrooms, 1 Bathroom (minimum), kitchen, living, multiple levels.
5. Ambitions and Generations and the items found in both those EP are recommended that are related to Steampunk via Inventions, Simbots, etc.
6. Please provide a maximum of 5 pictures on your post, if you have more please put it in a slideshow.
7. Be Creative and have fun ^_^

The Deadline will be on January 21st, 2012 so take your time. Winners will be decided by then.

As for the prizes, of course we gotta include some prizes here right?

First Place- New Steampunk Kitchen Set or 800 Simpoints
Second Place- 600 Simpoints
Third Place- Steampunk: The Return or Steampunk Set

Honorable Mentions- Individual items from any Steampunk-themed Set.

I will force myself to carve the time out to create something for this contest. Those inspiration pictures have me drooling! I'm so excited that they're going to be releasing more steampunk sets!!!
