So now with the showtime it has this awesome new feature to bring your friends in the game. I see the downside, but i think it will be an awesome new part to the game.
Ive been wanting EA Games to come up with a (non violent) game (like the sims) to where you can play with your friends.

So if anyone is like that on my side, you should befriend me on the Sims 3 community so we can sim it out together.

If you register your game, other players will be able to find you and send you friend requests because they know you have Showtime. So, don't be surprised if you get a lot of friend requests after the game comes out.

I am sooo going to friend you! I really want to use the simport feature so I can get all the additional content, so if anyone wants to friend me, feel free, and I'll help you get your achievement badges too

I see both sides of the argument, but I am not going to lie that I am excited for these features and like that I can shut them off when I just don't want to be bothered. I am definitely not adding fb to it though.

I've been playing since the original sims, too, and even sim city as well! I play a lot, and I'll be sure to get Showtime asap, but I have no friends. So it'd be great to have a few cool people on my list to get started with simport. I don't want too much online interaction (see: spamming), but a few people to interact with sounds fun!

When Showtime was first announced, I admittedly a little disappointed. But now that more information has been released, I am looking forward to March 6th and have actually pre-ordered the game via Origin.

I like the simport idea and I think it is just another way for the Sims community to interact. I do not understand why so many people are getting bent out of shape about it especially considering it is completely optional.

I am so getting showtime and I am so going to use Simport. There is no problem with it, and it's an exiting new feature, so why not try it out?! I've been trying to go around the site to find new friends which I can then share the feature with, so I am glad you've created this forum
