Intro:

It all started when we were kids Lyic, Kaylee, Kimiko and Noah.


I, Kaylee had always been in love with Lyic.


Lyic being one of my closet childhood friends and always looked out for me.


My best friend in the whole entire world Kimiko, my right hand gu-girl.


Then there was Noah my adopted brother, who was mostly cold and indifferent. He wasn't really one for words but was always there for me.


Time has flown by since then,


Being in our teens,


We are facing many different things,


But I wasn't expecting this.

Chapter 1:

It had seemed like everything was going to be perfect. I had gotten my hair done at the salon, my dress fits, and shoes broken into.


Plus I had my best friend with me every step of the way.


I thought that day was going to be the day that I would tell him, Lyic how I felt about him.


Of course we hadn't been asked out by anyone since they all knew who we would be going with. We didn't need anyone other than Lyic and Noah, that's how we have always been.


I had always pictured Kimiko and Noah getting together, they had always gotten along with each other. Then Lyic and I be an obvious couple.


The night of our formal dance had begun and was under full swing, I had asked Noah to dance so I could leave Lyic for last.


While Kimiko danced with Lyic, because I knew she would want to dance with Noah for the rest of the night.


It had seemed as if everyone was having a great time till the night air seemed to get a bit chilly as something unexpected happen.


Kimiko was kissing Lyic.


Now this is the point that everything had changed.

Chapter 2:

It has been a week since then I haven’t been able to do anything. I couldn’t believe that Kimiko did that; I haven’t talked to her since. She knew I was in love with Lyic.


Why would she kiss him?


Lyic’s Point Of View
“Hey guys have you seen Kaylee around?” Lyic asked, Kimiko shook her head.
“I haven’t seen her since the dance.” She shrugged her shoulders.
“She has been acting different.” Noah added.


Lyic had been worried about Kaylee he couldn’t shake this feeling that he had but it wasn’t right of him to try to make a girl feel better when she was in love with someone else.




Back to Kaylee’s Point Of View
It was another school day and I really couldn’t be in class.


I went into the bathroom and the person I wanted to see the least was there, Kimiko.


I couldn’t help myself I got upset and picked a fight with her.
“You are the worst friend anyone could ever have.” I said yelling a bit.


“Lyic never liked you, he was only interested in me. I can’t help it if he wants to kiss me. We had to keep our relationship a secret because I didn’t want you to find out.” She told me but was acting so high and mighty.


I walked out, she knew my feelings for him but she still went out with him. What kind of friend does that?




I couldn’t hold it any longer, I cried. I have loved him for years and she knew all this time that he didn’t like me!






I fell asleep on a park bench; I really didn’t want to exist anymore.
