Sara D: Modern Comfort is a masterpiece in modern housing! I really love all the levels you used in the landscaping. That is SO hard to get right and the stair placement can be so tricky and annoying, and yours looks beautiful!

Pam: La Hacienda is great! The CFE work on that thing makes me want to crawl into a ball and whimper. I don't even mind CFE but I would have been daunted on THAT much CFE. Excellent work!

Dear Customers,

It is nearly that time again! At the beginning of each month, we move to a fresh thread. We do this so that our thread doesn't get glitchy the way that older threads can, and so that our thread isn't an unweldy number of pages long.

As a customer, you don't need to do a thing. We will transfer all the requests over and we won't lose anyone! The new thread will be organized in exactly the same way as this one so that finding things will be a simple matter.

There will be a message with the link for the new thread at the end of this thread when we do the transfer. So if you have bookmarked this thread, finding the new one will be easy!

imahippyyo,

You definitely CAN make these changes to your request but here is what I need you to do. Please go to your request post, choose "edit" and make the changes on the original form. Then post on here to tell me that you made changes to your request so that I can see if the Open Requests post needs to be changed.

THANKS!

Ain't that the truth!
I had Kylie build me a city factory converted into living space (which is huge inside!), and I spent forever running around in it to see what she did to it! I had a blast! It was like Xmas, ripping open boxes to see what was inside.
Thing is, unlike a xmas box once opened, every time you revisit the lot with a new sim, it's like a new present!
Too fun and so appreciated!

The gifts that keep on giving...

That's EXACTLY how I feel! I keep finding stuff I missed in all the times I played the lot....

I would like to ask a question of all the talented builders/designers here. I have been through many of your studios, and see the wonderful work you do, knowing you don't use CC (for the most part, I realize there could be exceptions). When I first arrived in the wonderful land of Sims, and found the exchange, I saw all those lovely creations, and downloaded some to use, and I seem to have CC galore running rampant through my games.

My question is this: How do you tell the difference between what is CC, and what is not on your launcher to get rid of it? Maybe just uninstall everything from launcher, then re-install my store items?

Yes, I do get game freezes, and sometimes crashes. I am thinking I might just uninstall all my games and re-install fresh, that it may be my best option. After all, I want my new home when I get it to be safe from CC.

Excuse me if this is not the place to ask, but I thought you were definitely the ones who would know. Thank you in advance for any insight, or if you can point me in another direction.

Thank you, dear friends of our team! I know that we all love to hear that our friends and customers are having a great time exploring their new builds! Many of us stash stuff around with the express purpose of having the customer find nice little suprises tucked away around the lot. I know I love to do that!

Hi, priscapup! There is a program that many of us use to check for CC. The name of the program is Custard. I will say that the original writer of this program is no longer updating it and I have heard that it is no longer 100% accurate at being able to tell what is CC and what is Store. It is, at least, a good place to start when you think you have gotten some bad CC.

All CC is not bad and all CC does not destroy your game or slow it way down, BUT I know that I personally am not computer savvy enough to know what will work and what will not, SO I am very, very careful in downloading any CC.

I know that a few of the team will use safe, transferable CC in their builds, but I do not feel comfortable uploading anything with CC in it. ANY D.N.A. member who uploads something that has CC in it, will definitely mark it and I know that those members who use CC are very very careful.

In general, I try to ONLY download things from the Exchange that are from sources that I trust. Even those MARKED as "no CC" often contain CC.

I once got some bad CC into my game somehow. I uninstalled all the downloaded content (including the ton of Store stuff I own) and then carefully re-installed ONLY the stuff I KNEW came from the Store. Then I carefully selected each piece of CC and checked to see if my computer was still okay It took FOREVER, but I found out what was causing my problems.

GOOD LUCK!
