I can't make my unicorn interact with any other animal anymore Anyone who know what the problem is? Everything worked just fine at the beginning but the next day when I played I could not make them interact... I've tried with resetSim -> nothing happens, not saving the game -> nothing happens, create another family and invite a unicorn to the family -> immediately the same problem as I described... I'm absolutely clueless... Help please!

latest patch caused it...someone else posted a fix:

edit world
select family lot
evict family (leave house and stuff) family goes to clipboard
copy from clipboard to bin ("Save")
once in bin delete from clipboard
move family from bin back into lot
save, reload game, play Uni

you lose all outside interactions, all pending wishes, and any special tasks you might be working on, but it fixes the Uni's

I also read that starting a new game fixes it too. But the above seems better xD

it's MUCH better

now I lost about 1,000 on hand cash, but I also moved them to a bigger lot while I was editing so that may have had something to do with it

Had to do it twice, but finally worked. Forgot all friendships would be gone. Bummer. But I got my sweet unicorn girl back so bonus. Wish someone could tell me why my two rainbow butterflies disappeared. Still have no answer on that one. Thanks for the help and that I didn't have to start over... again. Like I did with Late Nite, so many times. Those are not good memories.

This works with sims to! For w/e reason I was having the same issue with not only my unicorns but with a sim. I havent tried using it on the unicorns yet but I tried doing exactly what TS said on my problem sim and it worked!

I tried and i lost everything and my unicorn still wouldn't interact with other animals OR people maybe it's because i used a cheat to get it from the wild??? plz help me

Surprise, surprise, the newest patch ruins something else.

Now I have to fix this mess too.

Hey guys! So, I had an idea from reading this, and it worked! It doesn't help with every issue, but.. Well, here:

I too had this unicorn problem, and so I followed along with the solution presented here, except first I added a random adult sim to my household. I then split up my household, moving my unicorn and that random adult out, saved them to my bin, deleted them from my clipboard, and moved them back in. Then, of course, I removed the random adult from my household. This way, only my unicorn lost its wishes, while the rest of my sim family kept all of theirs! (The unicorn did lose all of its wishes and relationships, and the family lost all relationships toward the unicorn, still.)

So! I just patched to 1.33 from 1.29 and obviously had to do this for my unicorn to keep working. BUT this is what I did instead so I didn't have to move the whole family:

1. merge a single adult sim with the unicorn's family.
2. split up the household, taking the unicorn and the adult sim you just added with it.
3. Save to bin
4. copy from bin to household, merge the two together.
5. Went back to edit town, took the single adult sim out. This way only the unicorn loses it's relationships, instead of the whole family
