Some light editing (adding text and borders, etc) but there will be no need to know how to do complex editing (though it is not disallowed - except face plastering)
You must be able to download specified Custom Content to use in your adverts. I will always personally run items through Delphy's custard/dashboard to make sure there are no issues with them before asking anyone to use them. If you are uncomfortable downloading CC then I suggest this is not the competition for you, sorry.
Please try to finish assignments on time (you will have 7 days to complete an assignment, unless otherwise stated) If you need an extension just ask, I am not unreasonable. I will not limit how often you can ask for an extension, however I won't grant extensions for the same person on a regular basis.
Please don't be negative about your own work, or anyone elses. And don't point out what you see as mistakes before judging - the judges may not even notice!!
Someone else may get an item/service that you think is better or easier to work with. Please don't complain, that's just the luck of the draw. Models have to sell things they don't particularly like once in a while!
If you have any issues with scores then feel free to ask about the reasons for your scoring in more detail. Please try not to get too offended if you don't get the score you were hoping for. You may be first one week and last the next, that's just the way it works. Try to take the constructive criticism and learn from it, rather than dwell on it.
Young adult or adult females only. No ghosts please.
If an assignment deadline has passed and there has been no word from you since the assignment started then you will be eliminated. This is only fair for other competitors who have handed their assignments in on time.
This is an elimination competition. After each assignment (other than the first - let's call that one a 'warm up') someone will be eliminated. This may change if there are drop outs.
In most case text is allowed, encouraged even (after all you are trying to sell. Think Billboard ads - a little writing to give information, but not screeds) No glitter text.
Only one picture per assignment, unless stated otherwise. Please make sure the picture you post is the one you want judged.
Always read the assignment carefully.
Feel free to change hair, hair colour, outfits, etc. Please don't change genetics or skin colour.
You can have extras in your adverts, but please make sure that your model and product remain the focus.
I'm really looking for dedicated simmers who love competitions, socialising and making new friends. If you don't feel that you have time to see this competition through then please don't join. If you join and need to drop out, let me know.
The winner will receive
- A custom sig
- Any two premium items or a set from the store (please note: not a compilation set)
Runner Up will receive
- A custom sig
- Any premium item from the store
3rd place will receive
- A chance to be guest judge for the final assignment

So two choice grids this time.
Choice 1 is for the theme of your runway (Your clothing can be whichever style you like, so long as it doesn't look out of place - no costumes please!)
Choice 2 is for the theme name of your tabloid talk show.
Your runway shot should have 3 models (including you!) modelling your fashion designs on a themed runway. This should be like a photograph so no added text on the picture please, unless it's on a sign or something and looks like it belongs in-game.
Your talk show shot could be of any of the things that might happen during one of these Jerry Springer like shows. It could be touching, dramatic or funny. How do you cope with unpredictable or emotional guests? Maybe the studio audience is getting out of control or you have a wardrobe malfunction - what do you do? Come up with your own scenario based on your topic.
Since this is the last assignment (so sad ) I'm allowing you to change your pick if you don't like your first one. But you must stick with your second pick if you do change. You may pick a different letter for each grid

Due Tuesday 10 July

"My mum is jealous of my teenage body!"
Dylan -
Over the Rainbow
"My son stole my new husband!"

Part 1: Over the Rainbow
To suit Brooke's style, I went with a more casual, flirty, and energetic look. I wanted them all to look like they're having fun, instead of walking blank-faced and posing. And if you notice, we even have a guest appearance from our very own A.n.a.l.e.i.g.h Lockwood, who is on the right of Brooke! Also, there are screens on each side of the models, to capture the different angles of the models.
Part 2: Bonding with Brooke, episode "My son stole my new husband!"
Not much need for a description, because the title says it all. With the whole dysfunctional family fighting, Brooke gave up on trying to console them. Sometimes people don't have time for "Bonding with Brooke", and just keep fighting instead, going as far as toppling over her own chairs! Oh well, might as well look cute on camera, plus, this will make for awesome ratings!
Shout out @ Traelia, for making the wonderful pose Brooke is using in pic 2! I don't think you lurk the forums, but thanks anyways!
Edit: They censored *********? Lol, sorry Jake!
Edit #2: They censored A.n.a.l.e.i.g.h. again? P.S., I hope I treated her right!

I like these a LOT better than last cycles finale, but still, not my beeeeeessssttttt work.
Mad for Military
Joined to her left, the lovely Brooke To her right, Ingrid and in the back to the left, Me
I decided to take the mad part literally and make everyone look somewhat angry. And yes, those are gun props. Fashion poses with a sense for guns are hard to find.
Ana's Advice
Things got pretty intense pretty fast on this episode of Ana's Advice, yikes! The mom was screaming and the kid looked like she was holding back a punch, so Ana kiiiinda freaked out a little. Fortunately, nothing was toppled over

This has been another WONDERFUL cycle, Syr and Fel <3 Thank you guys so much, and everyone who competed, you guys were all so great, and I hope to still see you guys around!
(PS, on my sig, can you just put Ana? Thanks )

Great job Jake. I really like the whole theme you’ve gone for and how it runs throughout the image with the styling of Ana, the background, your font choice and the bottle shape. Looks fab. The pose looks fantastic, and not one I’ve seen before. I kind of wish her left arm wasn’t lying straight across and was maybe tucked behind her head or on her waist. I love Ana’s smirk, she looks so confident and fierce. The lighting is great. I really love that you think outside the box, you never do what I expect and I’m always surprised by your pictures. I do wish Ana’s name was there somewhere. After all it’s HER perfume, she’s not the model for someone else’s perfume, so it might have been good advertising for the consumer to understand that it’s her own brand.

I think this is good, Jake. I like the funkiness of it. The colors all work together smoothly, and the theme stays consistent throughout. Those boots are awesome - just sayin'. I love the background, and the bottle and font are perfect. I really don't like how there is so much space between her and the bottom of the ad, though, I feel like it could have been scrunched and made a more streamlined looking ad. Overall, good job, though.

Aw. I love the idea behind this and I think you had a very clear idea of what you wanted. I liked your idea of the scent being so familiar and feminine – both in an innocent, and in a more sexy way. I really love the bottle. It’s fabulous. I’d probably buy this perfume based on the bottle alone. I don’t think your setting is terribly creative, and it doesn’t look like an ad to me. I wish you’d have either gone for the sickeningly sweet innocent choice (picnic date, lots of flowers, a sweet coy moment between the two new lovers, etc) or for a more sexy, seductive image with candles, lingerie and rose petals. Still a good ad though, and I like how he’s a kind of ‘bad boy’ to offset how girly Brooke looks. Kudos for getting Brooke’s name in there, and I love the name of your perfume. It’s really cute and fun. You have done a great job, well done

I do love the idea behind this, Dylan. Very creative and it suits Brooke so much! I do, however, think it would have been better suited with a "sexier" setting. Maybe some nice lingerie - really show that Brooke is comfortable with her body. I would have loved that. I am not really fond of the setting as it is, it looks little girl-ish and doesn't suit the womanly feel I think you are trying to convey. The font is pretty, though, and I love the color. I just would have liked to seen something with a little more oomph.

I think you’ve done a good job this week, but compared to previous weeks this wasn’t up to your usual standard. I like Estelle’s styling – very cute and quirky, and I think that’s what you were trying to put across, but then you had such a bland background. With the tagline you could have gone all out on a setting. Even something with a lot of extras and Estelle standing out from the crowd would have been made more sense with your theme. I think you lacked creativity this round, which is such a shame. The realistic background and the placement and size of the bottle look off too. Estelle is gorgeous and I like her styling and her pose. I also like the name of the perfume and the font. I think even from reading the FAQ on the perfume that you didn’t exactly have a clear vision. I think if you’d gone in with an understanding of what the fragrance and idea behind the perfume was you might have had a more clear final image.

I have to say that I was a little disappointed. After you've come so far with your progress, this was a little bit of a let down. I feel like the whole set up is a little bit hodge podge, and I don't really see it as a perfume ad. I don't really think the bottle fits in with the surroundings and the surroundings don't really feel like an ad. She is styled cutely, but it doesn't match her background. I like the tagline that you used, but again, feel like it doesn't match the theme. Ultimately, I am really distracted by the real background in the windows, as well. It looks terribly out of place. The shading is pretty, though, on Estelle. You always do that well.
Unfortunately that means we have to say goodbye to Nicola and Estelle. I'm really sad to see you go Nicola and have loved watching you progress throughout the competition. Estelle is such a doll face. I love her too. Let me know if you want to guest judge the final

This assignment, we had to advertise a painting, and that was the only prompt we were given. The basic colors of
mine were red and black, so I went with a color splash idea. Creativity is key here, because you can't just expect
your model to do all the work.
This is probably my favorite picture EVER. We were given clothing genre's to advertise, such as Elegance, or Casual,
and I received Boho, and so I downloaded a ton of stuff, and zipzadoo, I came up with this. It was definitely a really
challenging semi-finale.
For this assignment, we were each given cars, and at first, I was at a total loss. Then it clicked. Truck, Farm, Duh.
I got some points off because of the text, and that is something you really need to watch. Make your text pop,
not blend. These are ads for a reason

Question in advance, will we ever have to download from foreign sites? Because I have a difficult time navigating through most of them.
