I really like the Alpine Deserts of Arizona. So for my next world I'm building an arid lakeside town set deep in the wilderness. It'll have the clustered feeling of Arizona towns but Im adding a few far far away lots for those of you who like that secluded feeling. I've got my notes together so lets see how fast this comes together. Wish me luck.

It's coming along pretty nicely-but I'd suggest using some dry grass or really dark brownish grass in the areas that have pines-and make sure you blend it well, at that!

Thanks lennon. I needed that. I wasn't even gonna try layering terrain paint. But I'll give it a shot.

I like it. Its funny. I look for tropical worlds so I can have houses next to the water. I've found almost none, or just one little beach shack. I find houses next to or surrounded by water, here, in a desert world.

But I like how you put a rock outline around the dirt.

None. No store Items either. A shame really I don't stray from the purchased items. I just don't trust it really.

Yes. My messiness is apperant. My teachers say I'm more of an observer than doer. I just want to gain the skill and move on So I can practice on other things. But you have the right idea. Its lazy.

its lazy in a way its good. Only concern is around the ponds and small lakes you could of added some pond dirt instead of just having the plain dirt. Kind of looks plain.
