Part A

"And when he came to the place where the Wild Things are,
They roared their terrible roars and gnashed their terrible teeth
And rolled their terrible eyes and showed their terrible claws"

When Becky, after a long, hard journey, arrived Where the Wild Things Are,she was greeted by a group of menacing beasts. They encircled her, snarling and growling and baring their teeth.Becky, who had expected such a reception, was determined to show the wild beasts that they did not intimidate her in the least. She warned them that though she was human and looked frail and harmless, she was not to be underestimated.

Cute picture! It fits somewhat well to the quote though. The wild animals all look out of place, since none work together. Your model looks scared and confused..exactly what you explained her not to be. The set is nice, though, and overall you did a good job!!!

This entry is amazing! I love the setting and how you made it not only wild, but wild west! The theme was very creative, and I loved your props! The only reasons I took off points were because the set seemed a bit crammed with all of the props, and less is more in some cases and because your model doesn't really show much expression. If she had eye contact with the camera or perhaps a different pose, she wouldn't look like she was just standing there. But overall, great picture!

I love that you went with a sort of "wild west" atmosphere in this. It's totally random, but it really works! Your set is absolutely gorgeous. I love all the animals you incorporated, the old building, the train, and the sky with that tree in the way back. In some areas, your set is a bit glowy, like on the monkey, the barrel, and a bit on the clock. Also, some of the objects are of lower quality than the rest of your set, like the train and beaver (.....Is that a beaver? I think it's a beaver : P ) Those really are pretty small details- as a whole, your set is amazing! I also love your model's outfit, but her pose could be better. She doesn't really look like she's addressing the animals because they're all on the ground, and she's looking more up. Still, I think you did a fabulous job, so great work!

Part B

It was almost midnight when the police received a call from a man who claimed that his neighbors were partying and making an awful ruckus, thus disturbing honest people's sleep. The police came right over, but unfortunately they ran screaming from the house when they found out the party members were, well, dead. It was now up to Becky and her ghost hunter friends to put an end to the party...

I liked your spin on this photo!! I feel like it didn't work exactly like it should have though, because it seems like this would work for an occupational photo as well, and nothing is super wild about a job But, i do like it, and your model looks intense, and the set is perfect! Great job!

I love the idea of a ghost party! Very wild indeed! This picture is excellent but a little busy, and again, less is more! I love the thought that went into this assignment, and it's very creative! I only took off one point for your model's appearance because her eyes looked a little creepy like they had no pupils. Some editing could have fixed that. Overall, I love the props, and you did a great job!

Your creativity for this took me completely by surprise. I love the twist you put on the rumpus, and this is such a cool capture! Your picture really conveys the ruckus, and everything going on at once is a really great representation of the picture you chose. Plus your model looks totally awesome! There's a bit of white around the left side of your model's head and on one of the ghost busters in the back. (I don't know if this is from cutting them out or something else... Did you cut them out? If you did, you did an awesome job!) For the house overall, I think you could have matched the colors to the picture. Like, dark blue, night-ish colors maybe? I also love the moon creeping up in the window. That's an awesome touch! This is a really, really cool picture!

Krussi
Part A

"Grew until his ceiling hung with vines and the walls became the world all around"
The wild thing was on the bedside table, her eyes burning. The plants took over her room and her furniture almost disappeared.
The Forest grew and grew until her ceiling hung with vines and the walls became the world all around.

I absolutely love your model's pose on top of the end table! It gives this picture a very wild tone! It was also very cool how you made the walls covered in vines that seeped onto the floor and creeped onto the sofa in the back! However, I believe the picture is a bit dark, and I can barely see the background. This is good in a way because it highlights your model, but having a quality background is more important. I do not really understand why there is a lamp in the middle of the floor either, perhaps if you placed it somewhere else, your photo would make more sense. You lost one point for your model's appearance because I feel the picture would be better if your model made eye contact with the camera. That way she would appear more connected to the viewer. The main problem I think this picture has is that you interpreted the lyrics in such a literal way, and that's why you lost points in creativity. If you had shown a more abstract idea, I think your picture would have been more interesting. Good job!

This picture is so, so cool! I honestly have no idea how you made the room look overgrown like that, but you did a terrific job at it. It's really quite amazing! I just love how old and broken-down it looks! Your model is lovely, and I really love the way she's sitting. I can really see that.. like, feral look in her eyes that adds so much to the picture! I feel like she could have been in a better outfit than her pajamas, though in the book Max was going to bed, so I see why you may have done that. Also, on her nightstand, there's a random white line. Normally, I wouldn't mention something like this, but it's actually really obvious, and I don't know what it is. Other than those two teeeeny things, your picture is ridiculously amazing. Awesome job!

Part B

Enya saw herself, in white, rising up in the chilly night air, the moonlight flowing over her. The wounds were all over her, the version floating in the air. This was the worst dream ever, but was it a dream? or a place where the wild things sacrifice their prey...

I don't see the connection to the picture...the picture is a party...yours is a parting. I kind of see how the monsters look like they might be about to attack the kid...but not so much. Thepicture itself is wonderful, I see you used your zombie model . I wish we could have seen their faces though, and the background is super plain! But also magestic...GREAT JOB.

This picture is gorgeous! You are an expert at editing and you did a wonderful job with this picture! Every scar you put is perfect, and the hair looks amazing! I also love the creativity of this picture. You model really looks awed by her floating body. The eery feel you have this picture made it very interesting. Beautiful entry!

Oh my goodness. This is stunning! I know I've said this before, but your hair drawing is beautiful! Your model (both of her!) is gorgeous, and the second outfit with the wounds is so amazing. That, with the huge moon nestled in the clouds and the starry sky gives a really intense effect. There poses are amazing, and I can really imagine wind blowing. I took off a point for overall because in the distance, some of your grass looks a little funky. This is amazing, and I think your connection to the picture is really unique!

Shogunfish
Part A

"But the Wild Things cried 'Oh Please don't go- We'll eat you up- We love you so'"
She was deposited in the alley behind the club. Everything was blurring before her eyes, and without them supporting her she couldn't stand. They slammed her against the brick wall, and she felt the rough bricks scraping her arms as she slid down. She heard their faint whisperings-
"Hey! Hey, girl, wake up! Please... no... please don't." As she felt them slapping her face gently, "Here, just leave her here."
Then she heard their footsteps as they ran away. There had to be at least two of them, but she couldn't tell. The blurring in her vision was getting worse, and she was slipping in and out of consciousness.

There is no connection for me between the quote and the photo. Are the wild things her friends? They dumped her..so they would want her to leave. Or is she saying don't go? Doesn't make sense. Also, the pose is a bit funny...The background is nice...maybe a bit too blurrred though! Good job anyays!

I love the quote you chose! It's my favorite in the book! I like that you tried to take a creative attempt at the assignment, however I coudn't find the connection to the quote, so I had to take of points for relevance. If you had explained your picture's relation to the quote in your description, it would have been clearer. Also, it was cool how you blurred the background around your model, but I could see that you blurred parts of her shoes, so I had to take points off quality, and I think it took away from your model's appearance as well. This picture didn't really seem wild to me, but good job!

I love the blurred effect you used in this. It's perfect for the situation you described, and I can totally see how you made it look like the world is spinning around her. You did a really awesome job with that! I honestly... just... don't see the relation between the quote and the picture. I reread your description a bunch of times, and I don't really understand the "please don't go" part. Your picture is really great, though! I think her pose works well, and I honestly have a thing for street-alley-type sets. I do imagine your picture to take place at night, so maybe if you made it darker looking or maybe a bit more... sinister... the effect would be cooler. Either way, you did a great job on this!

Part B

The forest was truly her love and home. Her life was surrounded by trees and shrubs, which reached from floor to ceiling in her house. She decorated with smaller plants which she was growing, and planned to transplant into her garden. Nature was in every aspect of her life. She wore no shoes to feel the soft grass floor, that extended even inside her home. She wore her hair loose, to be jostled and styled solely by the wind. Her life was free, perhaps it could even be described as wild.

Your model looks stunning in this picture and really stands out! Her pose fits very nicely with her sitting on a table, eyes wandering. It makes her look lost. In a good way! Like lost in the mind; its a very nice tone! The background looks wonderful except I feel like the shrubs and plants in the back could be a little more organized. The way you angled the photo so that the painting on the wall looks crooked is very nice! I took off points in creativity because your interpretation was too literal, but this picture is fantastic! Great job!

This is beautiful- your model looks like a goddess with that dress and hair, and your set is fabulous! I really love the forest-y touches you put into her room. The way you combined her house with the wild is great! In some places, I think it's a little too bright, like on the painting and some of the trees. Maybe burn those areas a bit to make it look less glowy. Also, I really like your model's pose, except for the expression. If she were smiling, she would look naturally happy, but because she's not, it makes her whole body look stiff. I'm pretty much nit-picking though; I think you did a wonderful job on this!

I really love this picture! I can't pick out anything wrong with it! I I just love everything about it! It was very creative and I love your model's pajama outfit and her stuffed animal "beloved ones". It was very wild and the random deer added to the background haha! I love the full moon's symbolism effect! The boat being out of the water and the whole crazy/dreaming feel to it is just wonderful! This picture was flawless; excellent job!

Nothing in this makes sense, and I think that's why I love it so much. Your night sky is just stunning, and I love the 'Beloved Ones' in the boat. I adore Suzy's pose with the doll like she's setting off on an adventure. And that deer. Oh my goodness. For some reason, everything you put in seems to fit the picture even though I know it's just totally random looking. I actually spent a long time looking at this, and there's nothing specifically bad that I can pick out. So... I'm sort of in love with this!

This picture is beautiful! Very creative! Your model looks excellent, and I couldn't tell if the bunny people were also your model, so I just assumed they were. Well I love that! Your model's personality is just perfect! Her partying with "beast" versions of herself just makes this picture very wild! I love the jolly tone you gave this picture and the confetti in the background' Again, I couldn't find a flaw in this photo. Well done!

Rabbits! Rabbits, everywhere! I love how random and colorful your last assignments are! Suzy is just so adorable in this. Also, this doesn't really have to do with your score, but are the bunnies your model? Or... someone else? Haha, just wondering! Yes, well, I love the pinkish-orange colors- Her hair is so beautiful!- and the confetti! I wish you had zoomed just a little out, so I could see more of your model. Also, the tree on the right looks sad and deformed. This is so cute, though- I just love it! Good job!

Ok,I reeaaaally want to enter, but I just have two questions:
-Are we allowed to use models that are already in other comps?I've seen comps where it's forbidden
-When will the first assignment be?I have a class trip to Spain and won't be able to sim until next Saturday.
