priscapup: If you have no major issues with your game except what you think which came from the cc-content you got in your game, and you'd like to go cc-free, before you uninstall everything, first try how it works, if you remove your sims3-folder (from the mydocuments/EA folder - put it anywhere else) and let the game create a fresh new one (start the game and it will do it), then re-install your store-content. This way you'll get a cc-free game without the long way to uninstalling-reinstalling all your games.

Imoger, your way looks to be easiest, and I have already started it... would be going much quicker if I didn't spend summers way out in the boonies of Wyoming. My internet is moving like molasses in winter right now... slowest I have ever seen it, actually, but I will get there.
