Welcome to Saint-Yield, a 50's styled world !

NOTE: Unfortunately, I made the town a little too big for the medium map, which makes the camera routing impossible to put because it would make some house impossible to reach otherwise. So yeah, I'm really sorry about that, but you will see the world edges while playing ...

Years before, Saint-Yield was a peaceful and joyful town. Every families were knowing each other, sharing everything and throwing amazing parties. There was a lot of actions in town and people were coming from far sides of the country to taste the active life that Saint-Yield could offer.

Though, as it's always been a faraway town, Saint-Yield hasn't really have
the most detailed and unique jobs: The men were working at the local mine or the lumber mill, and the women were mostly staying at home.

To make the mine and the lumber mill more accessible from the village, the town council once decided to build a tunnel connecting those important areas of the community. As the city budget wasn't so high, they put almost all the local men on the task to build that tunnel.
But the irreparable happened.
As all the workers were on duty, the tunnel fell apart. No one survived.
...
At that time, all the habitants of Saint-Yield put their faith into the only thing that could be strong enough to cure their misery: religion.
...
Governed by a vicious woman having disturbing mental issues, Saint-Yield is now getting on the way to become a ghostly village populated by invisible villagers. What will happen next? Will the young generations ever do something the reput the town on the map, or will they just leave and let it drown?

Of course, the edges won't be seen by the camera. I just took that picture to show you how the entire world looks like.

It looks lovely; I like the terrain painting and the way you've done the footpaths.

Great work so far, I'm looking forward to more pictures!

Incredible job-is it gonna be an island?

I have to say Estyle! This is a masterpiece! I really just cannot wait to play this world. You'll have me on the edge of my seat. I assume there is going to be a river seeing the bridge?

You are right!

There will also be a bridge on the right and probably another on the left, so the town will be encercled (in a certain way) by a canyon, which will lead the way to a river down it.

Also, thank you very much guys. I can't wait to finish it either!

Ooooh, I love it, so far it has that little town feel. I live in a little town, there is a university here and about a hundred versions of Mrs. Crumplebottom. Please make a Mrs Crumplebottom house for there. Can't wait for the finale! Judi.
