Comments: Wowza! <3 This is probably my favorite picture of yours, Dr. Lincoln! The idea is incredibly unique and nostalgic, with the “circle beginning where it ends.” This photo is composed beautifully, and I absolutely love Lee-Lou! ^_^ I honestly feel that this photo deserves a perfect score in the terms of appearance and setup. But, unfortunately, I don’t feel like it quite relates to what’s asked in the assignment. I can understand how it does in a sense, but it’s not as clear as I’d like it to be. Phenomenal work, though, Dr. Lincoln – I’ve always looked forward to reading the stories that have accompanied your assignments!

Such a sad way to go out, but such an amazing picture. I think you really hit the mark with creativity, because this is something you wouldn’t expect (Even from you! ). Cyndi looks beautiful, the lighting just makes he glow! I also love the addition of Lee Lou, hopefully she’ll make a cameo somehow later on. Aside from the few wrinkles and horrible skin color, I see Jasmine still has her old body. Who, on the other hand, it wouldn’t hurt if he went under the knife for a few readjustments. ^_^ I always love to see all the detail you put into pics, I feel like I see something new every time. I mean, even that syringe in Jasmine’s hand really adds to the pic, as minor as it is. The décor is spot on, I love the guards lying there, I mean, it’s just really nice. Posing/appearance is great. I really like Who’s expression (Young Who), Lee Lou just has that somber/disappointed look to her, and Cyndi’s running mascara, they all just are impressive! I could go on, but I won’t. I will say, though, that I’ll not too fond of the sudden lighting/shadows that you see on the floor. It will go from lit to black to lit, and so on and so on. I know buydebug lights are hard to work with so that the picture doesn’t become too bright, but it’s just something I really noticed. Aside from that, there were no flaws, just one technical issue. The requirements were for the parents to be proud of Cyndi and her successfulness. While I really do like her different take on success (She essentially saved the space time continuum, or whatever), I don’t think the parents in the picture would be happy that Jasmine killed them, even if they are a zombie or mad scientist. I mean, I don’t mind, but it was really just the technicality of it. And that’s about it. I know you mentioned that all of these characters (or most of them, at least) are in a book you’re writing. If it was to get published, I would definitely buy it!

Comments: Regan is one stunning Sim! <3 I love that hair on her, too! :3 Overall, I think this is a really neat idea and you did an excellent job of executing it! Everyone’s posing is great, and I like how Skye and Clay are giving their son some space to be with his girl. The setting is okay, but I think it could’ve used a little more detail to help it better resemble a cruise ship. This is still a gorgeous photo, though, and you’ve done a remarkable job this cycle, Mark.

I’m really starting to envy you, Mark, because a lot of your pictures have this beautiful golden overtone to it that is just so nice. It’s great to see that Sky and Brant are still together, and that their son grew up so well! A doctor and a teacher, that family’s gonna be loaded with money. I also like that Skye trying out new things in her golden days, straying away from the cookie cutter life, very fun. Aside from that, I only have a few minor grievances. I’m feeling a bit of a disconnect from Skye and Brant. They’re a bit stiff (EA sitting pose, I know) and blank. I’m really not feeling Brant’s expression, because it looks like he’s glaring at the young couple, yikes! I’m also not getting much of a cruise ship look in the picture either. I’m assuming this is a secret indoor shot? Because I really would have loved that instead of a half wall and blue screen, if there was a railing and look of the ocean instead. Also, more clutter, perhaps another hula dancer, maybe even a tiki bar? Right now, it’s only a little bit bare. Creativity wise, I feel like it’s a really beautiful picture, but it’s just missing that oomph to it, I’m not sure how to explain it. I think it’s mainly the decoration, it’s just doesn’t have that cruise ship feel to it, I mean, without the hula dancer, I could even see this being a balcony, perhaps. But aside from all that, it was really fun seeing Skye’s life being told, and I hop that maybe we’ll see some of her “past work” in other competitions.

Comments: This is such a nostalgic idea – I love it! <3 Nicole looks beautiful and Caleb is adorable – Brandon and Jenna must be incredibly proud of their little girl. The setting just isn’t doing it for me this assignment, I’m afraid. D: It doesn’t really resemble a zoo – I think if you perhaps had some actual animals, that would’ve helped in that department. The angle wasn’t my favorite thing, either – I think the photo would’ve benefitted from a more straight on and closer shot. Despite that, though, this is still a fantastic way to end the competition. <3

I must say, I just love the nostalgia to this picture, what with it being the place Jenna and Brandon first met. Very cute! Another case of a well brought up child, Nicole seems like an awesome mom. I do like she has a different form of success, because as a single mom (I assume she is, unless the dad’s a work?), she was successful at raising her son on her own. I just adore how happy Brandon and Jenna are in the picture, they just look like such doting grandparents. And what kid doesn’t love the zoo? Okay, so there’s just a few things I really want to point out. I wasn’t sure what category to put it under, so I put it under pose. I’m not particularly fond of the angle they’re at. I think that a slight angle would have really benefited this picture a lot, and maybe if the camera was just that much closer facing the family. Now, as far as the background goes, I do feel like it’s a bit under decorated. Being a zoo, I would have loved to see an animal in the picture. Like the ones you used on their date picture, I think they would have looked really good in the picture. The panda shrub is cute, but it could also belong in more of a, say, zen garden? I also would have loved a bit more clutter. Maybe a bench and a trashcan? Anything to sort of fill up the picture would be great. I also don’t like the floor/fence thing going on. I feel like the colors are a bit too different, so maybe a darker floor or lighter fence would have made the two more cohesive. And that’s also where creativity comes in, because I think the zoo setting could have been more creative. But honestly, aside from all that, this was a really cute way to go out, and I just love how the whole family truly looks like they’re enjoying themselves. Amazing job!
