does anyone know the cheat code to keep the lot from sinking or getting higher than the road?

this is what I mean..

turn cheats on then,

SetImportedTerrainOffset N , where N is a plus or minus value, like -1 or 2 or whatever

place your lot

then SetImportedTerrainOffset 0 to put it back.

That looks like you will need a -2 to get it flush with the road. Experiment to see if it plus or minus.

That is soo annoying when it happens! It hsould be there for easy use and not as a cheat!! Thank for letting use know that information. It is very useful for me.

I don't know. I've only just learned about this and used it on one lot.

My magic value # is 0.33! I have never known how to fix this problem and wasted SO much time with all of the Terrain Tools. Thank you SO MUCH!

Thank you so much. This is not what I call a cheat code. It's a game code. But yes, it should be possible to do within the game and ought to be much easier.

Now I can go repair some lots that need fixing.

I want to add my thanks for this awesome code! There are so many lots I have beeen unable to place because of the nonsense with the terrain. This is invaluable!

I think the most common problem is when placing lots that were built in other worlds, even on FLAT land. Mine appear to sink about a half a grid down.

Hell bent on getting it PERFECT and after experimenting with many value numbers I finally found it ... 0.33! So try that # first just like this.

The cheat is not case sensitive either. Hope this saves you some time.
