im glad moderators are stepping up i really am.

but i seriously just got a "Warning" for doing my weekly bumps for my toddler thread. when (not naming names) when certain people are bumping their threads every day and others are threatening other simmers lives and can still post freely

i do the weekly bumps cause i thought it was acceptable since i wasnt doing it constantly i guess ill stop or just wait comment on it and right something other than the word "BUMP"

EA learn your priorities i'm not gonna bump but i will keep my thread alive cause i know many want to see and agree and if you seriously wanna ban me for that then go for it but you'll lose and life long customer if i cant even freely post on this site

i'm not gonna make a new thread on the same subject when i can just bump it once in awhile

I would contact CS. The rules quite clearly state that weekly bumps would be allowed

Wait wait wait... You mean to tell me that EA sent you a warning for bumping once a week and yet they are allowing this other guy who has threatened someone's life, tried to actually post the person's address, flamed, harassed, abused and otherwise terrorized other simmers to remain around?

What the heck, EA? I mean, really... What's more a problem? Someone doing a weekly bump on their thread or some guy with questionable mental stability threatening someone's life AND not just that, but threatening to sue your company as well?

Yeah. /:

This is why we need actual, uh, I don't know. Moderators.

I'm gonna start a thread soon relating to the forums. I'm asking, begging, pleading, etc, that they actually give Guru's mod power. I mean, the hell? Seriously. If it's only limited, awesome. (Warnings, 24 ban, etc.) Seriously. /:

Would you post a link to your thread. I looked but could not find it. I would like to read it and leave a weekly comment.

edit: never mind, found it.

Please let me know when you start your thread, as you can see I am in a "mood" today.

Thanks

I would personally back Callum's suggestion and appeal it via customer services. What's the worst they can say?

To err is human. To blame a computer is even more human.

Yep, send me an email before you do, so that I can share my suggestions

Will do. (: Was planning on reserving a few posts after the OP, anyway, to make sure that I'd have room without making a giiiiiiiant OP.

This isn't the first time too. I've been given threats by Henry7890, but he definitely didn't find my adress or anything, even if it may have been my old one. It seems that when I complained about Henry... and the moderators, everyone retaliated defensively for the moderators, now you know why this is badly moderated forum. Whatever. I think he's gone now. Callum, whenever I see your avatar now, I think you're Sesert or ChDim! They share the same avatar with you!

Yeah, I seriously don't get the point of having moderators on this site if that can't even do anything. Do they just give they position of moderator to people so they can look cool or something? I find it even more ridiculous that the SIMGURUS of all people don't even have the ability to give people bans or warnings! We would be able to get rid of trolls so much faster if EA would just let moderators and gurus do their jobs!

She didn't. It even says in the rules that weekly bumps are allowed.

Actually. Weekly bumps are allowed.

Posting death threats isn't. That's her point. People who bump are banned / warned. People who post death threats, pr0nz, etc, are allowed to run around.
