Hello! Recently got Late Night and after browsing through Bridgeport, I love the subways to get around. However, I was wondering if you can create a community lot to hold a subway and if yes, how would you be able to name it? (not as in the name itself, but rather the type of venue)

IS THERE a way to create a stand-alone subway?

PLEASE SOMEONE, ANYONE REPLY, AS I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS!

Uh, I wouldn't make the substation lot (which is very tiny) a Visitors Welcome. Make sure to mark it as No visitors...that way you won't have Sims hanging out around it. They can still use it to go where ever they need. The game is bad to have Sims hanging out/stuck in a lot of the lots if they are inapproately marked as Visitors Allowed. You will have them at the subway station and not your clubs if you do that.

Agreed^^ It's a hassle. + you can name any lot in Edit Town. A 10x10 works fine for a subway.
Btw. It's also available in buydebug. On the subject of lag, please check out the 'Spawner Alert' Thread in the Store GN discussion. Will be a huge help if you're experiencing any lag at all. You will need buydebug enabled to check for Spawners, which MULTIPLY, which seems imo to be the main reason BP gets 'laggier' as it gets older. Spread the word guys

uhh, I thought it was available in the community objects section of build mode. Hmm. Also, the name of the station is dependent on the name of the lot. So, if the lot does not have a different name or is too far away from another Rabbit Hole, it will typically just be "Community Lot Station".

^^^Yes, it is there, just pointing out the buydebug thing as well.
Unlike picnic tables only clearing if the com building ones are used, the subway from debug still works properly.
Lol, I start my sims on an empty lot, and put the debug subway on it until they can afford a decent car. With a subway in the park, and the right amenities in the park they save their cash pretty fast!

edit: I don't cheat my Sims, but don't think having cheats enabled for building is cheating.

I don't bother placing the subway stations on their own lots. There are plenty of places on existing lots to place them; that also avoids any problems with lot bloat and with places for NPC sims to linger. (However, I haven't tested the "No Visitors" thing yet.)
