I'm making a lot... a, well, Chance Lot.

You know how sometimes you get bored and don't want to do the same things? I was thinking of building a board game world but this came to mind a few days ago. A lot... to roll the dice, pic a number and see what you get for your Sim or Sims to do.

Thing is, I need game play ideas. Non normal game play ideas or, okay- maybe even normal.

See- there will be 6 rooms with 6 walls to choose your fate for the Sim. Each room will have a theme; such as Family, Career, Personal, Home, Fortune, and I need another ...
With each theme room will be the six consequences... 1 wall and one suggestion to do in the game pertaining to that theme.



What do you think? Any help- Suggestions on what to do?

Here are some weak and lame ones I thought about:

Family~

*Single?- Get married but first- your need to meet and marry the next Sim you talk to... be careful and choose wisely. Even if they're married- you come first.

*Married?- It's time to think of you! Take control of your own future. It's time to cut the weight from around your neck and start over. Go argue with your SO until they leave....

*Children! Married or not Now is the time to have a child. Adopt or your own... You must have a little one now... tick tock, it's your biological clock.


*It's vacation time! Take the family and travel this weekend. If not to a WA place then find a Community lot (download/make) Camping on the Beach/Woods/Country or even a Country houses rental would be fun.


*Something's wrong with the family! And now you can only control one Sim in your household~ Who will it be? (No switching once you choose a Sim)

*Only have one Sim?... then you can't control them for 3 Sim days. Not even to make them stop or go to work... How will you survive?



Home~

*Termites! You have to sell everything and Build a New home.

*



Career~

It's time to concentrate on your Job! Work and work- you need to focus on your job.

*You're right. That job just isn't right for you. Time to get a new job. One you've never played, if that's possible.

*Job? Who really needs a job? Time to live off the land and enjoy the sunshine. Not that it won't be hard,any maybe fun.

*You are now a Collector! Collect all the Gems and cuts/Insects & butterflies/fish but only in your Free time- they're not for making money.




Personal~

*Meet and make friends with a Ghost

*Have you thought about Playing a Creature? Well it's time! Make a friend of a Creature be it Vampire, Unicorn, Simbot, or Ghost.

*It's time to check out the naughty side- How many loves can you have at once? Can you get 10 without getting caught? Try it!


Fortune~

*A friend moved in with you and before you knew it... they took all your money! You're homeless- move to an empty lot and no building for 1 Sim week.

*Give a gift of at least 100 to every Sim you see until you're Sim is broke.

*Start buying all the businesses in town. Then buy a Community lot to make it the best in town.


- Lots of ideas and Suggestions are needed. *puppy dog eyes*

What do you think? Is it worth working on?




Room 6 so far. I hope to decorate each to their theme.


Suggestions for things or stuff you don't do in game-

Anyway- I don't need lot ideas cause I have one. Not advertising cause that's not allowed here, I need Ideas for the game play.

**Possible "Adventure" room. It wouldn't HAVE to be linked to world adventures, but just adventures to go find or do certain things like .... change your name at city hall, or go find a certain bug or gem or stuff like that. ~by manwitch

**Oh, NO~ Your lot has become a Prime Realty! The City Fathers wants you out and have raised your Property Tax to 50,000 every week- or give them all your Cash Every Sunday (no storing items in inventory). ~by Darkling

Eco-home-For 1 Sim Week, everything you eat must be home-grown or caught. Fruits and veg from your own veggie patch and fish you've caught. Must only use a fire pit. No dish-water/compressor or any electricity to save energy, you can only wash from the sink (brush teeth/wash hands) to save water. The only candles for light. ~by Holzibell

**Beta House,-You must have a party every night for 3 days and entertain your Sims as much as possible. All parties must be GREAT. Hook up with as many Sims as possible (the more woohoo the better) Music must be playing constantly. The messier the house is left at the end the better. I don't know what else for this, maybe someone could add some ideas? ~by Holzibell

**Can only decorate your house with items your Sims make...

For career the Sim could master a new profession they've never done before? ~by Rockleyfamily

**Under home have a klepto Sim provide everything for their home.(can change 1 good trait to Kleptomaniac with testingcheatsenabled true ) ~by SimsAddiction

**You could do something with the pets. where you have to play with some many pets on the lot or you can only play the pets no Sims. ~by Dark_Tig3r

Very creative! I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but for a Home consequence maybe you could make your sims pay Personal Property Tax every so often--a very substantial amount.

Its a really good idea! A good way of making gameplay more interesting
For the home section you could have something like 'There is a power cut in your home and you cant use anything electronic for a week'
Or 'There has been a gas explosion in your home and you cant enter your lot for 3 days'
Or something along those lines

How about eco-home?
For 3 days, everything you eat must be home-grown or caught. Fruits and veg from your own veggie patch and fish you've caught, you can't use the oven and must use a firepit. You can't use the dish-water/compresser or any electricity to save energy, you can only wash from the sink (brush teeth/wash hands) to save water. The only lights that can be on can be candles. I wonder how sims would handle this unconventional way to live

Fortune - How about a mooch one, you have to see how much money you can make just from mooching off people?
All money must go towards building a new home. It would be interesting to see how good a home you could build with this.

I'll come back when I think of some more Also, how is this going to work, like do you get points and stuff for what you achieve?

This sounds wonderfully fun! I wish I could give you some ideas, but I am a very dull player by most people's standards ... happy families all the way for me. I shall keep an eye on this thread, though - GREAT FUN
