They only said it would be announced today, not released.

I usually don't comprehend things right when I read them and have to reread several times, but looking at the Facebook announcement, I got the feeling it would be released today too.

That's exactly what I was going to say as well. For those who don't have facebook/can't see it, what the announcement said was this:


"A few smart simmers noticed that our Lucky Simoleon screenshots were taken on a world that doesn’t look like any out right now. Hmm. Want to find out more? Make sure you check out The Sims 3 Store on Monday! http://Store.thesims3.com/"


That, to me, sounds like it'd be released today. And I did see a post on a tumblr page (keep in mind, it's tumblr, how reliable that is I don't know) that said it will be released today as well, but their report has now been changed to "later this month".

Good point! It says to check out the "store", not to keep an eye out for an anouncement! Strange though, have they ever released anything on a Monday?

I agree the FB post indicates it would be in the store today.

Later this month means next Thursday. Hope they schedule a chat before then.

They said if you want to learn more. Today they released pictures. It doesn't mean release date for the world. They would have said something like get yours tomorrow.

I thought the same thing Shannichol after I read the post at Face book yesterday so your not alone in thinking that it was being released today.

This makes me wonder why the EFF EA even bothered making LL to begin with! As expensive as LL was, and how little was included with it and how very UN-space age it was, I'm offended. Thy should have released this Lucky world instead, and done a more traditional futuristic sci-fi world with more thought and effort later.

I assumed it would be out on thursday, since generally they release things on thursdays. And generally they release things on the 1st and 3rd thursdays of the month. But I don't know for sure.
