OK, I am facing a minor problem here. My OS is Windows 7 64 bit Premium and I have all the Sims expansion as well as the stuff packs. My store content patch is version 1.1, the latest one.

OK, whenever I am playing in game and click on the buy mode, sometimes there are objects which are listed for sale in the buy mode. So when I click on the purchase object to purchase the item from the Sims Store, there is a message which pops up, "New store content patch available". But my game is already patched to the latest version!

So when I try to click on this menu, I am unable to do so. Most time, the SIms 3 launcher will then stop working!

Is anybody else facing this same issue? This problem is driving me nuts! But I am able to purchase the objects when I am not playing the game.

Why is this so? Thanks!

I did get the message to update but I click to update later and now I can't even get the new store patch at all

Thanks to that I can't even upload and I'm getting errors anyone know where I can get the new patch?

I got that patch and it wiped out everything. My game looked like I had just installed it!! All the downloads, saves, saved sims,library, etc were gone!.. Luckily I had a back up and didn't have to download from the store but I had to re-install everything. Lost my custom colors also. I back up more often now.
