I want to buy an expansion pack but I don't know which ones to get... I'm thinking Generations or Ambitions. I want something that will really open up my possibilities in the game. I really don't know what to choose though, in your opinion, what's the better game? Thanks! I'll probably get both in the end but I want to know which one to get first.

It depends on what you like the most. If you are into families, choose Generations. If you'd like to play with new careers, choose Ambitions. Personally, I would choose Generations first .

I would wait for supernatural I have all eps and could live without both gen and amb...

Honestly I use the content from Generations more than I do Ambitions. While I like them both a lot, I have to say that I probably lean more towards Generations. I love all the different family interactions and stuff that game with it, as well as all the new stuff kids and teens can do. :3

Ambitions is also fun, although sometimes I get really tired of the new professions that came with it and always having to follow my Sim around for half of them. It's fun, but gets old sometimes.

Really it boils down to, do you like playing around with family interactions more, or do you prefer to be more job-oriented in your games?

It all depends on how you want to play. Generations is good for interactions and Ambitions is good for adding new jobs. If I had to choose 1 or the other I would go with Generations or Showtime.
