That is a LOT to ask someone! Why don't you try some competitions? My build team is holding one with some big prizes http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/0/554671.page#88748

There are many other contests going on as well...right here in the gift gathering forum.

Wow it's a little cheeky of you to ask for such an expensive item, which costs real money, in exchange for you making them something. There are plenty of competitions and lotteries for the chance to win lucky palms as a prize, please try them rather than begging for it.

And welcome to the forum, I don't think i've seen you here before.

Why not join a contest? I want Lucky Palms as well but I would never in a million years ask someone for a gift over the forums that to me is rude.

I meant new to this section, sadly even those who post a lot can still end up coming here to beg.

The contest will be a lot of fun, and I wouldn't say you have to be lucky or an expert builder, just creative.

Where do you see her begging? offering to make some creations in exchange for the world is not begging it is bartering.

Many people in the real world barter their skills in exchange for things they need, it is the oldest method of payment there is.

how ever you cut it dear... asking strangers like that is begging...

If you ask and get it isn't a gift

Gifts are not a thing you ask for or expect, or something you are entitled to.
Gifts are given from the heart; to someone you care for or want to show appreciation.
Gift is an object in any form, that be homemade or bought at the store, gift can be as simple as a smile or a hug.
This forum is for offering gifts, and thanking people for gifts. This forum was never intended to be a place to come where you would ask in any way, shape or form, others to gift you.

It is begging by her asking someone to spend 25$ on an item and her making them something that has no monetary value. She is asking for something for nothing pretty much and to me that is begging.

Errm asking someone to buy something for you because your too poor is begging, and in the nicest possible way trading for you making something is hardly a fair deal so isn't really considered bartering

In the nicest possible way it's not a fair exchange, a world which costs $20 for something the person could build themselves. In my opinion what she is doing is begging, although I agree that opinions may differ and this may just be how I see it.
