Hey Simmers,

I need your help. I have all of the games installed (stuff packs included) and the latest is obviously Showtime. When I click on my Showtime tab to bring up the game to play, it says: There was an error during startup. Please see the Log for more details. I have no idea what this means and no idea why it won't work then it automatically shuts me out of doing anything else.

Does anyone know what this means and what I can do to fix this??

You can try removing your player data files before relaunching the game. To do so, navigate to the following location:

Documents/Electronic Arts

Now move (not copy) the folder named The Sims 3 to your desktop. Attempt to run the game.
