What are some things we have to deal with in real life that you're glad your sims don't have to deal with? I'll start.

First off, I'm glad my sims don't have to worry about health conditions. Things like high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, etc...

For the past day or two, my sim has been living off nothing but ice cream and fatty greasy foods such as fried burritos, fried ice cream fritters, fried chicken and fried onion fingers! So, Im glad my sim doesnt have to worry about any of the stuff that I mentioned because if she did, she would have just about every health condition listed above.

I know some people say they'd like to have diseases/health conditions added to their game just for the purpose of making the game more realistic, and I used to be one of those people... but after thinking about it, Im really glad the game doesnt have that feature. I'd be so busy having to run my sim to the hospital all the time, and so busy trying to watch what she ate, I wouldnt have time for any fun. Its nice to know that I can let my sim indulge in eating fatty unhealthy foods without having to worry about any of the bad stuff that comes along with it. The worst possible thing you have to worry about is that your sim will start getting a little blubbery but it doesn't really matter because all you have to do is have them hop on the treadmill and it doesnt take that long before they're back to their normal size.

What about you guys? What are some things that we have to deal with in real life that you're glad your sims dont have to deal with?

I'm glad our sims don't have to deal with as many bills that we have in real life, some times I feel like I am on one of those running wheels that just go in circles.

Now on the flip side, I'm glad that we don't have to deal with vampires in real life, or complete strangers just walking in my home taking pictures of me while I am sleeping.

I wouldn't mind having something minor like a cold, but I agree that high cholesterol and heart disease have no place in the game. I watched my grandfather die of heart disease, I don't wanna watch my Sims do the same.

Anywayyy, I'm glad female Sims don't have a menstrual cycle haha! I'm also glad that divorce is so easy as apposed to real life.

All of the darker aspects of life. Way too many to list.

I'm glad my sims don't have to pay for clothes! I'm a little bit jealous though. My sims would be in the poorhouse before I even started playing if they did have to cough up simoleons for clothes and shoes.

I'm glad for our little Simmies that they don't have to deal with dog doo-doo. Their dogs only pee water in their house.

Wow you guys have mentioned stuff that I have never even really thought of.

tashie_baby11- I am sooo with you on the menstrual cycle thing!! Thats enough of a pain in real life, no need to bring it into the game! And I agree about the divorce thing too. Sims dont have to go through months of being separated and then go to court to decide who's going to get the house and the kids. I'm glad divorce isnt so easy in real life though... if it was, divorce rates would be way higher than they already are, Im sure. Sorry to hear about your grandfather by the way. Thats another reason why I dont think diseases would be a good idea to add to the game. Some people have had to actually deal with a friend or family member who has died of a particular disease, and Im sure it would be a very sensitive thing for them.

I agree with everything else everyone has said. So glad my sims dont have to worry about car accidents or picking up dog doo-doo!

Another thing I just thought of is that our sims dont have to worry about dental problems! All sims are born with perfectly straight, white teeth, and they never get cavities or have to worry about getting fillings or root canals or even dentures. They never have to worry about having an accident and knocking out a tooth or chipping a tooth. I wouldnt want my sims to have to worry about any of that stuff, however, I do think it would be cute if our children sims could lose their baby teeth. They could get moodlets like "so and so has a lose tooth" and then whenever they lose it, they can put it under their pillow and the toothfairy will give them money. I would love that.

I'm glad my sims don't have to deal with car accidents too, considering how many times they've been run over by a faster moving car, especially when they're on bicycles.
