I haven't seen a single negative post about Seasons. Usually when a new expansion pack has been announced all I see are negative posts. I see this as a good sign (that most people will enjoy this EP), but I'm just wondering if there's anyone displeased with the next EP.

I'm definetely not upset with it! The only thing is that I'm disappointed that there's no new town, but I understand why they did that. I was really looking foward to new people and a new story, but I still get weather, seasons and so much more so I'm happy

I have seen two people on here that talk about how weird it is that people find such a dull aspect such as weather exciting. But literally, I kid you not - just two as of now.
There may be more, no doubt. Those are just the two who voiced their opinions, and neither post here as they are on the SN forums. That's also a new thing - many of the seasons "haters" might dislike it for it's dullness so they'll most likely be over at SN since that's also a new EP. Never had this happen before, maybe they should release 2 opposite EPs at a time, I bet there'll be no fighting!
Not only that but most people who complained were the ones who wanted seasons - and before that pets as well. So now a majority of the community got the EP they were asking for for the past 3 years and most are satisfied.
And of course, it does not look like it will disappoint

Nope! I always try to look at positive things when it comes to every expansion pack. Haven't been disappointed yet... the only thing I'm disappointed with is that EA is TEASING us! Dangling Supernatural and Seasons in our faces and saying "here little simmer, simmer!" D: All I want to do is grab their computers and take it home with me and play both expansion packs! Muaha. D: So. Far. Away. I haven't had this big of a PEPs until they announce two expansion packs two months release after the other and we have a month left for Supernatural and three months for Seasons!! I don't know how I'm going to stay sane.

A new town would be nice, but I'm ok without one if it means compromising gameplay. I'd much prefer the content anyday ... We had no town with Generations but a ton of new interactions and stuff for our sims to do. Plus, we'll be getting a creepy new town with SN anyway which I can't wait to cover in snow!

Nope not seen any complaints just yet!
Personally I can't wait for this new expansion pack!
Finally we have almost everything people requested since Sims 3 came out: Pets, Magic, Seasons.
Maybe Uni and everyone will be happy hah.
Awesome EP, no complaints here!
Mind you I've enjoyed all the EP's so far and the one that got a lot of hate (Ambitions) is still my favorite!

I've seen a few people dissatisfied. In all honestly I feel bad for them. I hate it when everyone else loves something but I don't. This happens all the time for me with books and movies. I want the intense excitement and passion (and the ability to fangirl about it with everyone else). Also it feels like I'm somehow missing something, definitely missing out, but also like I experienced it wrongly or something.
That said, I have ZERO complaints with what we've learned about seasons so far. There are few things I'm sad we won't have but they're minor and only would have been extra sprinkles on the already massive seasons sundae.

The only thing that upsets me about Seasons is that it took so long to be released. I could have been enjoying the game for years if they had put it in the base game or released it early on. The EP itself looks amazing.

We knew Seasons would be coming as there were instances of people finding bits of coding referring to weather in the base game and the EPs. Yes, it was a disappointment that they waited so long to release it but they waited until it was as good as it could possibly be.
They made each festival not only relevant to the seasons but also to the town. And it changes with the seasons on it's own. We don't have to do anything unless we want to change it. That alone had to require a ton of new code. And I shudder to think about the work and hours that went into adapting the weather to the new open world concept. From what little they previewed in the live broadcast, you can see that the weather is more than just an overlay as it was in Sims2.
Nope, no disappointment from me. I am just thrilled that we are going to have not just weather but a whole new set of things our Sims are going to enjoy.

I'm thrilled about seasons and am looking forward to it. You'll probably see some complaints once it gets released though.

I'm satisfied. They knew what they were doing waiting to release it now. If they released this and Supernatural at the beginning no one would be buying the others, or the numbers to buy wouldn't be as many. You know the saying, save the best til last.
But I am very happy with what this EP has to offer. I think this and Pets will be my two favories.

I've seen a handful of complaints, but they were from people who have been known to cause trouble on the forum and never seem to be happy with anything, so I think they were just complaining to complain. No complaints from me!

Wouldn't go so far as to say I'm upset but I really don't get what the excitement is about. Weather and some uninteresting outdoor activities that my sims will be too busy to participate in anyway "yay". I place it down on the bottom of the expansions with Showtime, only slightly edging above it because I'd actually use the seasons.
When I eventually get it it will most be just to have the complete set of expansions, but I'll also use the aliens and seasons.

I can't imagine anyone really complaining about it. In the end as many simmers state: "If you don't like it, don't buy it" So if you "really" don't like it, then just don't buy it and save your money. No need to complain about it . I for one am extremely happy that I did save my money right when I did, because now I can buy the expansion I've waiting for!
