Apparently it has been confirmed we will have this,

Hey again, it's IMeep. You may remember a while ago when I asked for same gendered kissing booth stencils. It's been a while, but I have decided to restart that topic, as the gurus had not seen it. So the premise is that 2 new stencils for the kissing booths will be added to the game. One with male/male, the other female/female. They will have no effect other than visual on the kissing booths.

Your help would be greatly appreciated in fighting for equality in the Sims 3. You can help in several ways. First off, you can sign this petition:

http://www.change.org/petitions/ea-add-in-same-sex-kissing-sten
cils-for-the-kissing-booths

That will keep a nice list of people who support the idea.

Second off, you can keep this topic visible by adding in your opinions to the idea.

Third, you can tweet and email the gurus to let them know about this.

If you have done all that, there is more you can do!

If you are good with words, your help in phrasing the petition or having a good saying on the banner would be appreciated. I have made a banner here:
http://fabianmoonwillo.deviantart.com/#/d5azueu
But if anyone who could make a better one wants to, feel free. It would also be nice if someone could teach me how to make it INTO a banner.

Thank you for your help in this struggle for equality!

Even though it's still several month until release it's already too late to ask for additions. The developers are currently busy with putting all pieces together, testing and bug fixing.
Oh and by the way, I'm not interested in same gender things whatsoever. So don't count me in.

Then they can add it in the patch. It will have the space of an item on the exchange.

So you're using a virtual life simulation game as a bully pulpit to promote real life civil rights issues?

I don't see how this is even an issue? Let alone one that you could even reasonably petition. Simply because you can easily fix this in the vanilla game. Just send your active sim over to a booth with a same sex sim and have them makeout.

Better yet, you can permanently resolve your dilemma by using mods. If you're allergic to this route, then you'll have to count on luck. There is a 99.999% probablility this feature may never show up in the game--because of the potential legal migraine this controversial subject would pose for EA.

Why do you suppose the devs don't include other sensitive isuses like religeon in the game? If you can answer that, then you'll have also addressed why this is a completely futile request

Religion is not included because it would cause controversy. That doesn't mean all sims are atheist. And if people are offended by it, they don't have to use the feature. So I ask you this. Why do heterosexual couples get the stencils, yet homosexual ones don't?

Equality in The Sims 3?
Can't we already date and kiss etc with sims of the same gender?
At one point my town was over run with townies who were in a relationship with someone of the same gender and they had kids....
Why do you think EA is not about equality? Because of a silly kissing booth?

I actually find the Sims to be very equal in same gender relationship given that one can date and even marry and have ******** with another Sim of the same gender (which I found out by accident; I didn't know that "girlfriends" was actually of the relational kind rather than like BFFs. ) But yeah, whether or not Seasons will have same gendered kissing booths or not, I'm happy that the Sims gives us that option.

They aren't forced to use the stencils.

So why are you forcing them to include them?

And if religion was incorporated people wouldn't have to use that either. Doesn't stop it from being controversial.

I call Non-Sequitur.
They don't have to use it, if it's included. If it's not included, people who want it CAN'T use it. Comprehend?

Good point. However, M/F stencils are included, while M/M or F/F are not. So comparing this to religion means that it's one religion is included, while others aren't. That's even more controversial.
