you shouldn't have to, no. I bought the discs and they are pc/mac compatible. I had all mine installed on my PC until I bought my new mac...installed the same ones on my mac. So you should be fine

It depends on where you downloaded them. I just purchased some EPs at GamersGate for example, and I have links for both PC and Mac downloads. Log into your account at whatever site you originally downloaded them from and see what you have available in your purchase history.

Just wanted to add if it was EA/Origin where you originally bought them, you could see how long you can stand to play without them because it sounds like they are working on Mac downloading from Origin and you might be able to do it then.

Well I got the base game on a CD rom but the two EPs were downloaded. Late Night was downloaded from Impulse and I have Generations, which was downloaded from Origin. It turns out that both of them are not Mac OS supported at the moment
I can wait it out and see if Origin will release a MAC download for the Eps. For now I'll just stick to the base game. I totally didn't think about that when I purchased these games but Thanks!

soo i see the sale of Late Night, the MAC version on GamersGate.. so tempted to just buy it. Not sure how long I can hold out without my eps on my mac. Has anyone ever purchased EPS twice, or am I the only one here lol.

I could swear it's been previously mentioned that if you contact EA explaining that you purchased digital copies from Origin and then got a Mac, they'd send you a disc. I might be wrong though?

That was a great idea! I contacted EA however the said that there is no Origin MAC OS as of yet. He did conform that they will be releasing one but not sure when they will be releasing it. I contacted EA again, and the second guy sent me a page and asked me to contact the EA Warranty Department. I briefly skimmed through it but I think in order for them to send me a cd version of the game, I needed to have purchased the game within 90 days? I would have to print out my receipt, and explain my senario and mail it to them. And who knows how long thats gonna take Or even if they respond. *sigh* I do kinda miss my PC. I happen to find Late Night as one of my favorite Eps. The deal of sims games on gamers gate is awesome so maybe Ill by another pack for now until hopefully something resolves of this lol. But thanks shesclassy!
