Please forgive my caps title... I usually have better grammar than that, but I'm a little freaked at the moment...

So, my sim had a party. Let's just say it didn't go well... in other words, a five star celebrity sat on my couch and read for about 75% of the party, and then discussed the book she was reading with nearly everyone else... jeez.

So, anyways, I put a bar in my "party room" downstairs and hired a mixoligst, and things started to pick up. And then around 2:00 AM I asked for everyone to leave. I went up the stairs no problem and went to bed, but everyone else was trapped. Let me explain; they basically walked up to the top of the staircase and walked back down. There are about five celebrities trapped in my basement...

I don't want them to die...
that'd make me look bad

So, any input? I'd rather not restart because I had a lot done without saving, but if that's my only option left... meh.

Shift+ctrl+c>resetsim <first name> <last name>

You have to be exact with the spelling of their names.

try going to buy mode and replace the stairs or place an elevator. If something's wrong with re sims reset them: hold ctrl, shift & c at the same time then type resetsim [first name] [last name] with a space in between everything.take away anything blocking them at the top of the stars like a door, wall, arch, or maybe you locked a door it by mistake. Hope that helps!
