"You're not," I say. "You have to stay here with us and hide."

I hear a knock. I grab a knife and head to the huge door. I crack it open. "Hello?" I whisper.

I cough. "Please...let me in..." I was so tired, having to walk 37 miles from chicago. It took me a week to get here, dodging obstacles and what not. I cough again, except smoke comes from my lungs. I think I inhaled to much smoke. I nearly faint.

Spencer
I open the door. I hear him cough. I pull him in and take him to a gurney. I give him some old cough syrup we had.

Slowly, my cough fades. "Ugh..."

Spencer
"There." I turn to the girl who had offered cookies. "I'll come with you."
