Hi Rem. I wanted your world sooo much that i kept researching until I found a Super Patch that would work. It took 3 hrs to download but the 1.34 patch finally worked and i was able to get your Tiny WOrld. Just like my friend Cy.berqueen said earlier I absolutely love it. I also like the fact that you left plenty of deco spots for me to plop down some of MY favorite things. I plan to send some pics here for you to see. MY absolute favorite thing about this world is the abundance of sims. Everywhere i look there are at least 7 to 13 sims in the area where i am. and since the lots are so close together it really gives off the feeling that the world is populated. My sim and 4 other sims can be in the park but just next door there are 4 other sims by the theater, across the street at my Baskin & Robbins there are 5 other sims and they all can be seen in my camera. Its really cool. Thanks again for making this adorable little city.

I can't tell you how lovely it is to get such great feedback, I really appreciate it!

That was one of my chief goals, to give the game a busy city feel at street level whilst maintaining performance. So I'm really pleased to hear you experiencing this

If people can find the time to post some pics of their adventures and how they develop the world, that would be the icing on the cake for me!

Yay it's all fixed! Going to get the fixed version now. Yes, the city was bustling when I played the last version. And the sims there were interesting and attractive. There are some personalities I ran across that clash in a good way. So I'm sure people will see a lot of entertaining interactions as they are out and about.

I'm on Mac so unfortunately I'm plagued with the problem of screenshots not saving. I'm sure I will have fun though.

I has cheezburgers...om nom nom.

Remmo - I just wanted to thank you for creating such a great world!

It runs really smoothly on my computer without a single problem, it's small enough that it doesn't create the dreaded lag effect that I get with larger world. I can play on full resolution which I love. The cool cast of characters that inhabit this world are really fun to meet. I've only been playing with this world for a few hours but I love it already. The houses are really well constructed for game play. I like how there is a fair amount of decently priced starter homes for new sims. I also love the Splash night club, well made! This Small City has everything that a sim could need, and I like that it incorporates the new showtime expansion pack.

A+!

I hope you keep making worlds like this, it's fantastic. I appreciate the time you put into this.

I'll post some screenshots once I get a chance.

Thanks!

Clarity

Thanks a lot, that city is soooo great! Finally everything works, my city is full of Sims, I was able to buy a really simple, cheap and nice house with a huge potential, I earn money from tips 'cause there are actually Sims that watch my Sim perform, I love it! Recommend it to everyone, especially if you don't have super fast computers and your worlds are dead... My machine is not so bad but still not enough for many big worlds.

Thanks again!

So adorable and the kind of world I've been looking for. I don't have Showtime though and would love to be able to play it.

Have been making a start on updating parts of the world for a second version (release pending) using Lucky Palms stuff.

Couldn't resist adding the jetty style houses with the tolling of the water bouys!

And of course, the casino and chance to win big was irresistable. I think you'll agree, it's gaudy enough to pass for the sims!

How charming! I'm so glad you decided to incorporate the pier homes. One of my favorite aspects of Lucky Palms. Will they be the same 29x13 size? I've noticed some custom world builders have varied them.

Looking forward to the next release version! Any approximate release date?

We can agree that Gillie!

@Mairmalade
Yes, I've made them 29 x 13. I'd be curious to know how others have made them bigger, as the wall that surrounds them is a fixed 'U' size. I guess they may have used the smaller sections and built them up to a custom size but that would take a lot of fiddling and I didn't really have room for bigger.

Won't be too long until I release (probably the next few days) as there isn't much more fiddling I can do in regards to LP stuff, I just want to tidy some things up. I placed the funky new bistro, but the other recolours I probably won't add, as those rabbits are already covered and space is tight.

From what I've noticed some players either make their piers smaller or they'll create terrain above water to create a pier-like effect without the use of the rails from Lucky Palms.

Okies, I've uploaded the new version (not much difference really!), it's in my studio or follow the link in first post.

The first house on the Lucky Palms style jetty houses is as an empty starter home with adjusted lower price.

No need to uninstall last version as I changed out the WPID files to allow both to run.

I just downlded and installed your awesome world into my game and it says there are households/sims but doesn't show any (whenever I click on a house it says their name but doesn't show them).

I didn't see a save file so I'm wondering if Overwatch/MC would make them or what?

I've never had problems with installing a world/saves before so I'm wondering if I'm missing something lol

EDIT: Nevermind. The game either made them or replaced them o.0
