Chartreuse is a shade of green. I couldn't come up with a good name for a casino in Cape Verde then I thought ... Verde = green. Shades of green that sound classy ... Chartreuse. And, of course it had to be understated! A royal family can't be seen somewhere circus like. =)

Description: Featuring hand stocked bookshelves, all skill books are included in this lovely library. An atrium provides a prime location for chess tournaments. The Children's library is designed so the younger generations can get a jump start on their education and develop a love of reading. A computer lab on the second floor creates an ideal space to research as well as finishing up some book reports. Book returns at either entrance ensure books can be returned at any hour. Ample parking is provided for both cars and bicycles at either entrance.

This lot certainly provided a unique set of challenges. Flanked by roads on opposite sides, finding a way to provide parking while planning two entrances dictated a small portion of the layout. Adding the features I wanted to include as well as hand stocking the shelves put my space planning to the test!

this is beautiful! It has that old town feel, but is clean and elegant. I love it!
