Well the title pretty much says it all, whenever I insert the Seasons disc and try to install it, the installer won't even open, I just eventually get the message that installer has quit unexpectedly.
I installed the sims 3 not even 10 minutes ago without a problem, so I'm wondering if there be a problem with the disc itself?
I have also tried the Terminal trick, but my hard drive doesn't appear to be hidden
I've restarted my computer twice, taken the disc out and put it in again...I'm out of ideas

Has anyone seen this before?

Also, if it's helpful, the beginning of the error code is:

Process: tgInstall [401]
Path: /Volumes/VOLUME/The SIMS(tm) 3 Seasons
Identifier: com.transgaming.tginstall-sims3ep08-sku1

Have you tried moving the base game into a new directory and then trying to install again?

Found this on these forums from a while back:

1. Open hard drive
2. Create new folder and entitle it as "Sims 3"
3. Go to applications and copy the base game
4. Paste base game into new folder "
