"You are also not much of a fighter. Most of us are armed, and yet you rather aim at babies." Nyria spat, trying another approach. Maybe he wasn't beyond being goaded into changing his target, and finally giving her and Liam a chance to do something.

Sepiroth

I say dryily. "you are imuture to insult me, I am beyond goading."

"Alyssa! Spencer! Shield the kids!"

Glaring, the knuckles of the hand holding the knife were going white. Restraint didn't come easily for Nyria. If not for the babies, she would have attacked already, and even now it was infuriating to her that she was just letting him stand there, waiting. There must be something to be done!
"It is merely what I see. You attack babies rather than actual threats."

I stay in the ware house and usher Apzen to hid behind a box. I take out the paper and pen I grabbed earlier and wrote a note on it. Give Nivera Max and Kent. She will keep them safe. I wrapped it up and gave it to Nivera. She held it in her beak. I calmly tell her what to do. "GO!" I say to her and she flys out and lands next to Spencer.

Spencer
I read it. "Should I do it?"

"well..okay..maybe not this, but.. she wouldn't have like you serving Kann.."

Sepiroth

"a monster must serve a monster."

Apzen
Doing as told, Apzen even kept quiet as she hid behind the box. She was frightened, and yet, the fact that Nyria took off didn't upset her, considering Arden was still there, and Arden was nice to her. And, of course, she liked her bird, and watched as it flew off to deliver a letter.
