Wanted University for a long time and it finally comes. Super excited about this. But I am a little disappointed about the Island Paradise. First the name sounds like a store world, second I don't think it is very compatible with the game, I mean, it does not add much actual game play to Sims 3 unless you play in that specific world. What do you guys think?

They said you would be able to explore the sea and find multiple islands, so I assume it isn't just one world. It would be sort of like a holiday/vacation expansion. Also, you can go underwater. It sounds awesome to me!

Live chat announced Uni EP, Island Paradise EP, and an unnamed EP that has to do with traveling to the future

So looks like three yawner expansions in a row then possibly another good one. Have to say that's a bit disappointing. Oh well, will most likely get them all eventually for completions sake.

I think it's too soon to say Island Paradise won't add gameplay to regular Sims 3. Diving under water might be available in all worlds and they might let us open resorts and use boats in every world.

University life sounds good to me
Island aventure sounds situatial not real sure but the items will probly be great
the time travel one is a huge disappointment. i do not at all want that one but we will see if the items make it worth it.

I like that they announced all the upcoming games. All I wish from them now is to come up for a better name for Island Paradise

I agree. When they said the name I was like uhh really?

Out of all of them Island Time is the one I"m looking foward to the most. I hope this will be a subhood like the university town. Now my sims can finally take a real vacation and boats arn't just restricted to houseboats they can be driven.

This opens up the possibily of jet skiing,fishing from boats etc. It also opens up the possibility of adding the beach towel we missed with seasons and search for shells,wave watching,sandcastles for adults and beach balls.

Also boats may be a new woohoo spot. Then there is underwater I can't wait to see how this will pan out. Hope it doesn't push graphic cards to their limits.

Jaws Unleashed suffered severe frame rate drops because mo the underwater enviroment but especially with bubbles hopefully this won't happen with the sims 3.

But if this isn't a subhood we won't be able to send our sims on a vacation unless we have a mod.

The part about traveling to other islands doesn't mean other worlds we own.

I'm probably most excited for this! It sounds so fun! And come on, making your own boats from build/buy? Its a dream come true

What happened to Open For Business, did no one enjoy it like i did? I want to replace the rabbitholes with real restaurants and shops.

Quite possible since Riverview added to Sunset Valley with the option to Swim in the ocean. But I swear if they pull out that Time Travel EP for real I will BEG them for a a Delorean like from B2tF! Or a Hoverboard....or both! XD

The Island Paradise EP sounds pretty lackluster to me but as it's still in development maybe it will be far more interesting by the time it's released. The only thing that sounded interesting to me though was house boats, I have no interest in sending my sims underwater really when there's so much they could improve above the water first!!
