Sadly, when we purchase from the store, it's like buying something "as is." No refunds or returns (that I'm aware of) because we're not satisfied with the product. We can do that in a brick and mortar store, often easily. It's called customer satisfaction, the customer is for the most part catered to, the customer is always right. But that doesn't appear to be the guidelines some companies follow; like (but not limited to) EA.
I feel your pain, I really do. No harm in giving it a shot though if you have a lot of patience.

Nope. Sorry, I'm super happy with my purchase here. It's one of my fave worlds now actually. Guess it's really just personal preferences. :3

Well i think this world isnt as good as the other store worlds we have had in the past. If you compare AS to ST or MV i just think this isnt the best store town. Well thats my opinion. I know others feel different, but this town isnt really it in my eyes. I just hope the next store world is going to be better, and maybe a bit more effort will be put in it.There isnt many houses to start with, and they look kinda bland to me. But like i said thats just my opinion.
Edit:I do like all the stuff that came with it though, some of it is really nice.

No, but I think you should be forced to give something to those people whose creations you stole and used as your own.

Myself and my Son are in love with AS. It is awesome!
There is so much to see and do It is very picturesque and beautiful. The local townies are interesting. It is a 'busy' social world with lots of sims out and about. AS came with lovely clothing, hairstyles, build/buy objects, the amazing new Venue and its PC items and the HAB.
I really do not understand why some simmers are disappointed.

Seriously... this is your 4th or 5th thread about Aurora Skies now.
This is very irritating, honestly I hope EA sees your spam and does something. I think most of us get the point - you don't like the world and feel scammed. Maybe you should have waited a couple of hours to watch youtuber's reviews, or to get feedback from others BEFORE purchasing, I ALWAYS do this before I buy anything.
Your attitude is very sour, and an annoyance. No one likes spam, hopefully someone of authority asks you to stop posting these threads... it would be appreciated if you did.
Thank you.

Boh, I like mine and launcher shows 84 new items (from those 3 PC), I think, price is OK. I don't like world, but I'm happy for new build items. Hopefully it will not have bugs.

You're acting like a bratty child. Next time, do your research before making a purchase. If you'd waited a few hours, you could have read reviews of the world before buying it. Take some responsibility for your own life and quit whining.

I like this world, sure it's nothing on the scale of ST or MV, but it has it's own beauty and charm, stop complaining and go and explore it, make the most of what you paid and try and enjoy it!

It's unfortunate that when buying digital content there are no refunds for dissatisfaction.
I would recommend being a more informed consumer though and watching the producer chat videos when they are posted (that's how I saw how low the hot air balloon was and they answered the question "does it go any higher"...."no it does not). Also, the simgurus had screenshots of the world well in advance before it became available for purchase. Those photos match other player photos taken after it was released.
As others have stated, there was always the option of watching player review videos or posts too beforehand. So there are plenty of ways for people to know what they're buying when using a little forethought.

I love this world the only complaint I have is the combo bistro since Sims can't eat outside but I can place the townlife bistro there for that purpose.
