Hi, WR

Thanks! I was gonna leave it a house until I realized there wasn't an Art Gallery. I hope it works as one.

It should as long as you designated it as one. I am under the understanding any kind of building can be made as an art gallery. It is very beautiful, that's for sure.

I think it will make a great art gallery. LOL, seeing your comment about the cowplant made me realize that I haven't ever used it. I guess that has to be chalked up to a nostalgia purchase

I know what you mean Rflong, about common sense not dictating that every single thing be built in a theme. Somehow, though, I can't just plop anything down on a vacant lot. It has to be just right. Count your building blessing. If I can't find that right house or community lot, I have to go searching for it.

Hi

Thanks!

Yes, I've been working on it. It started crashing last night as I worked on it... so, I've been saving every couple of minutes, when I remember. Then having to go back and remember what I've done.

I've been making Sims for it, trying to make related families in the town and all. Now, I'm playing it (without families right now- still want to make a few more).

If anyone wants to test it without Sims then this is it. I'm testing it right now.

Mountain Lake

It's a small area on a large map- 69MB

When you find something- there always seems to be something - just let me know.

Thanks so much!

Hey - just got back on and saw the post, had unexpected but very welcomed visitors drop by for the afternoon - downloading now. Yay?

Will be testing as soon as installed - have supper in the crock pot cooking, got a bunch of fresh garden stuff - so making a big crock pot of Spaghetti sauce straight from the garden, so have all evening.

Will let you know if anything turns up - Reggie

Well, shoot. I'd like to help but I tried to download it and it wants me to sign up for 4shared. Which I don't wanna do!

Looks absolutely beautiful, by the way.

Just about to go back in - so far no problems - running nice and Tangie it is very beautiful. I already had accounts with 4 shared, so didn't have any problem.

Anyway, finished supper and have the dishes washing so heading back in - next stop is to see where a trip takes off and then delivers my sim before I forget it this go round.

Love the changes - excellent.

Well, that was weird - Apparently in Apartments we don't see a depart spot as I sent my sim Jared to go to China and he got on the elevator and then whoosh he was in China - that was fast - like almost instantly. Spent 3 lovely days explored the normal first two tombs and bought some China stuff - the fruits, the cook books, all the camping things and work out gear and what ever he could afford. He was learning a new song when the game said it was time to go home and whoosh there was Jared jumping out of a cab in front of the apartment. Did they upped the leaving and arriving screens or something - or is it the fact Jared lives in an apt - as I neither saw the leave or return spot - but either way it obviously went perfectly well in this world. Man talk about no load time - that was fast - So those magic "spots" I still don't know.

Love the wonderful Museum Lounge. How gorgeous is that!!! Marvelous idea Rflong. Love the little Game palace lounge too. Very nice as is the much better assylum - the veiw there is amazing. And on the same notes - the Nectary, the campground - fabulous - and yes the Art gallery is just beautiful inside and out. I think my sim was liking all these places as much as I was as he kept doing the clappy, dance in place happy dance sims do when they really like something. I found it odd as I generally see that mainly on childish traited sims and he is not. He's all gunned up to be an entertainer and has traits all revalent to popularity, talent, and personality.

Hey you put your pet pound the same exact spot I put the pet store in the older version. Must say I like your pet pound better than the pet store for sure.

Now that I'm done with the accolades - the only sort of off thing I saw was the kids bunkbed set in the Fishermans house is not against any wall - I assume the headboard was supposed to be against the wall as there is a nightstand on the other side, so I moved it up the half space away from the wall it was.

Next is mostly questions - Like is the pet park finished as it seems totally barren to me I think I saw a food dish an hotdog squeeze toy and a salt lick. So am I right it is unfinished or did you leave it like that so we could do it ourselves. Figured I should ask.

Next question - In the Science Center aquarium pond thing - I have no clue what to call it - there is a walk around overlooking the oceanpool - is that just for appearances for realism or was it supposed to allow the sims to walk around - as there is no acces from the ground - so I assumed it was just for looks, but figured I should mention just in case. It did not bother my sim, as he didn't even notice it was there. No foot stomping or anything.

I had my sim spend a night in one of the pup tents at the camp ground. He enjoyed some fishing and playing chess by himself. He gave his approval of the watering trough even though there is no pets spawning yet - that I have seen - Jared claims to have seen a wild horse and a bird - but I didn't see them. Then he got the wish to buy a horse. If i could I would have reminded him he lives in a one bedroom apt and is about to embark on a career in entertainment when he is done helping me out. Silly sim. I guess that's what I get for sending him for riding lessons to check out the riding center.

Just in the two play sessions tonight the game moved in 6 households, mostly single sims with 3 of them also having a small pet - either a kitten or puppy.

Hey I found out that sims are retaining some memories of worlds they were in before, as in the first version of this where I tested the routing and such, I had added some buildings and the Casino was one of the buildings I had added. In this version that lot is still empty, and I took my sim to that lot to check out a lot up the road - I had him run across the empty lot so I could check out the scenery mainly, and while standing there he got a picture in his thought bubble of him playing blackjack, then on his own the bubblechanged to crossed out. Weird or what? I don't recall seeing a sim do that before - as if he remembered the spot. Trying to figure out if this is a new touch of programming use for the memories or if they worked like that all along and I just never noticed.

I did not bother adding anything and just tested things as they sit. Still only about halfway through the whole town as the trip to China was a bit time consuming. But still need to check out all the regular stores and such. I'll be sending him today around to do all his skills over so that should help test most of them. So far I have just had him doing the - "go here" type of things and checking routing. That too is only about half way done - by bicycle anyway.

So will talk to you later this afternoon. But so far so good. And gorgeous of course.

Hi,

Sorry, HappySimmer3. I totally forgot about needing to be a member of 4Share. I'll upload the populated version to Mediafire.

When I get it done.
I didn't really play yesterday. Did some but got sidetracked with life stuff.

Thanks so much, WR! :hugz:
I did notice that the Sims in the Apartment, the NPCs now just fade at the elevator. They didn't have to ride it to their floor. It was strange but works so much better now. They still pile up a little but no having to wait for the elevator.
That might be why your Sim didn't have a taxi ride to and from the apartment.

And YAY! I'm so glad you like the changes.

I did leave the park kind of barren. I haven't played a Sim with a pet very long so I'm not sure at all what to put in the parks, especially since there's only one.

And now off to the hardest part~ making Sims... and adding them to the game.

Went to bed after I posted that and woke up with a wretched sinus headache - so I haven't gone back into the game yet. I have the headache down to dull and barely throbbing - Lord forbid I sneeze though as the top of my head may pop off. Well it feels that it could. Nevertheless it is laundry day, so about to dive back in anyway. Nothing like the sims to make me think of something but a stuffed up head while the washer is doing it's thing.

I sort of thought you purposely left that park empty. It is easy enough for simmers to add what they want in it anyway. Just wanted to make sure you were aware and to know it was intended. hehehe.

Okay off to Mountain Lake for me. Later....

Here, just a few pics of the scenery up by the new Assylum - just gorgeous and a few of my sim visiting China last night

I've been playing in Glenvale County for a while and love it, but no bartender ever populates at the Juice bar. I checked and it is the right kind of bar and it is zoned correctly, but just in case I removed the bar and replaced it and changed the zoning then changed it back to local watering hole and still nothing. Also, no worker at the consignment store and can't get a tattoo to save my life. Or rather, my sims can't get a tattoo, I'll get mine when I find a really good shop.
