Sooooo. There's some hair, some clothes, bits of furniture...is that it? I can't seem to find anything to do with the "stuff".

I thought there might be a new career or some buildings in each of the themes, etc. Maybe I missed what this pack was suppose to be about.....If so someone please tell me what I'm missing.

It's like any other stuff pack... it gives us more stuff! This one is just themed to be things you'd see on a movie set.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Not much to this SP unfortunately. I only got it because I want to complete my collection, and I really wanted the directors set. This is really pushed towards the story tellers in the sims community, and I am not one of them!

Yea that's why I got it too. Just so I have a complete collection. Oh well. At least there is some stuff I will use in it!

This is stuff pack, not expansion pack.

You will not get new gameplay like careers in stuff packs.

Point of stuff packs is to get more stuff in the game ( like clothes, hairstyles, furnitures, build mode objects ect.. ).

That is why is called stuff pack.

It's for fun- to make a movie set... to add stuff!

I so want to get mine so I can set up a Movie Studio for my Actors... Half the fun of this game is coming up with ideas to play. Not letting the game do it.

I agree it's "stuff," but an overall theme seems lacking. At least you could use the cowboy stuff for the store farm items.

It isn't as bad (from the YouTube reviews) as I thought it'd be. I will probably get it in a few months when it goes on sale.

LOL

I haven't since the beginning, however I did pre-order because that directors set came just in time for my vocal legend to start filming some movies to go with soundtracks . Well, since we can't have two careers, I figured I'd just do some scenary and set building and just play it like I was filming a movie...

However, since finding out that you get this directors pack regardless if you pre-order or not, as long as you get it from Origin, I'm hoping this is a set up for a store set that hopefully will include some PC items to compliment these sets. It could be wishful thinking, but people have been requesting a movie camera or photo shoot object (like Sims 1 Superstar) since ST came out, so I'm hoping that we will indeed get a complimentary set that would put these items to really good use. They clearly put some effort into the objects considering they don't show up when filming on video?.... so hopefully this will be an aspect that compliments something they may be releasing in the store, or entice people to buy the SP afterwards.

Lets face it. When they announced it, no one was really super excited about it. I mean, look at the forum for it. Dead. ON release day.

Everyone must still be arguing over Sims 4.

Same here! I'd rather have more movie theater lots or something more substantial. I guess I can build my own Western saloon and use the horror stuff for some kind of Halloween themed lot. Anyone have any ideas for lots I could build myself with these items?

Its interesting what we will buy to finish our TS3 collection. I was so dead against this SP and I buy it to complete my collection.

Is it out now?
I totally forgot about it. It's not something I can use since I doubt I will tell stories in these themes. I also don't like normal sims wearing clothes from a different period. It could come in handy for Appaloosa plains though. With three themes, it should have been a Mega Stuff Pack.

I like this stuff pack, personally. I love the horror-themed dresses; they're so elegant and great for those of us who enjoy writing stories, taking pictures, and making videos. I've got a few ideas for the super hero stuff too, and even the western. But then again, I was excited about the Katy Perry Stuff Pack, as you can see from my sig and avi. :p
