I was originally going to give it a 6. I was going to buy it until I found out about the price increase. Now I give it a 2. I don't use the store so the sim points that come with the game are worthless to me.

Mainly because all the pictures I have seen are of Egypt.
Its based around quests.
Hardly any new objects.
No new hairstyles.
Havn't seen many improvements yet.
I really do not see how people can say 10 or even 1 at this time. Hardly any information has been released. How can you love a game and know your going to buy it before you've actuelly seen proper gameplay.
The trailer and screenshots could of just been staged.
Ea does that a lot.
I'm not saying you can't like it, I'm just finding it strange how people can already love it...

You know, it doesn't kill people to not skip a line after every sentence.

Chance that skipping a line after every sentence would kill people .00001%
Chance that it would result in the extinction of the paragraph 100%

3. If it comes to sale I might buy it. So far the only interesting thing is those 10$ points for store...

10.
I know I will probably end up pre-ordering it, and I really want to give it a chance. Even though I'm not happy with it at all. Weird? Probably. I'm addicted.
I'm psyched about buying an EP when it comes out - first time I'll do that, since I only got Sims 1 when Sims 2 was out for a few months - and I never got Sims 2. So that's why the 10.

What I'm looking forward to most is the possibility to make nectar.

What I'm looking forward to least of all is the puzzles and opportunities.

What I'm hoping for is a few new building tools and some new deco stuff.

10, definitely getting it. Although I'd certainly like to know more about it. So far, I'm most looking forward to Egypt and exploring the tombs. I'm a little less than thrilled about France, but they're trying to please a wide audience, so whatever.

Right now I would have to say I'm not going to get it or any expansions. My game already crashes so unless that situation is fixed, no more Sims 3 for me.

Usually I get my Sims Expansions (have them all Sims1 and Sims2)the same week they are released. With this one I think I will wait a couple of weeks to see how everyone else is reviewing it. I am downright bored with Sims3 and I haven't played it in several weeks. The strange thing is I played Sims2 fairly non-stop from the time it was released right up until the release of Sims3. The Sim Stories were quest driven and were great fun the first time through. After the first time "hmmm been there done that ho hum." I guess that I am experiencing the same thing with Sims3. At least with the Sim Stories once the quest scenarios were completed the opportunity to play Vanilla Sims was there.

So to the point I'd rate my getting the game at a 3.

I think that I will wait to see what everyone else think before I buy the ep.
I am not too thrilled about the puzzle thing.
I agree with Bzrburns2 I played the sims2 everyday for hours, but with the
sims3 I find myself getting bored with it and don't play for days. So this ep would really have to be a little more exciting for me to buy

I agree i'd give it -1
I would rather have "seasons 3" any day, they have nothing in this game, you can't go to anything but blank stores no where to go except the beach or pool. they haven't even finished with this town at least in sims 2 you could go somewhere to eat and sit down. MAKE SIMS 3 FIRST. i want snow for xmas!

sims 1 and sims2 made sims 3 the best seller. copy them???????

hm, i wouldn't know what to rate it. not a lot of information has been given out. but from the trailer and screen shots, it does seem intriguing. for now, i'm just interested.
