Epic Building Challenge!

Hello and welcome to the epic building challenge! If you have been here before welcome back and if you are new welcome, we are very glad to have you here!

What makes us different?
As you may have seen there are many challenges in the creative corner. What makes us stand out? the excellent members & creativity we have in the thread, We have extremely helpful members and people in the thread that are just great.

History of the challenge: One day during the past summer I decided making a challenge would be interesting. I actually made several challenges but none of the, did very well. Until this one which has been very successful! I am so thankful to everyone who has joined and been a part of this challenge!

Benefits: Winners of the challenge will receive an automatic download and reccomendation on their lot and story (if one). Many of out members also recommend lots so you will probably get more than one.

There are three levels:

Begginer- I’m new to building in the Sims 3 and only know the basics.

Intermediate- I’ve been playing Sims for a while and am pretty good at building but not mind blowing.

Advanced- I know how to do almost all in the building world of Sims 3 and my lots are sure to impress!

As there are more participants there will be more levels added.

Details- The challenges run fromm Tuesday to Tuesday & are WEEKLY challenges. The deadline for entries is 6 pm on the assigned due date. (Pacific Time)

MINI Challenges: Some of our contestants completed the challenge quickly and then wanted something else to do while they waited, we now introduce MINI challenges. These will be posted along with the weeks challenge & can be completed/ Uploaded & judged just like the actual weekly challenge. WE all hope you enjoy this new feature.

We have very helpful members here that are always ready to help and are very kind.

How to Enter:

Well, some newbies have some confusion on how to enter the challenges as we all once did. Therefore im going to instruct you on how to enter.

First off, read the challenges requirements & plan out your build. Open up your game build the home.

Then, when in EDIT TOWN mode click the share button. A window will pop up allowing you to name it and give a description.

Afterwards, the ite, will appear in your launcher under the UPLOAD tab. Click on the house & select upload from the bottom.

It will then appear in your account on the site. Just complete the entry forn inout the link and thats it!

This also applys for anything else you want to upload.

Welcome to the Epic Building Challenge!

If you are new here welcome! And if you have competed before welcome back. We are always looking for fresh faces so we are glad to have you.

I am very glad that so many of you created families for our simyko neighborhood! But there are still some famillies left so please go here and make a family if you havent already.

The families taken are in a list on Page 2. Anyways, since all the families did not get made I will be postponing the lots for Simyko until the following week so that we can get all the families in.

So, with the help of Djonas here is this weeks challenge.

"The Hospital for the Challenged"

You are sitting in your office which looks quite nice after the recent renovation you just made to it.

You are having your cup of coffee when Geofrey Landgrabb walks in your door.

You say "Welcome, how may I help you today? "

He says, "Well I have heard you are quite the builder. So I have come with a Big task."

You say, "What exactly do you call big?"

He says, " Well as you may know I am the new owner of the Hospital for the challenged. But the original structure is just too old and kinda ugly for my taste. So I want a new one built."

You say, "Ahh, I see. What exactly would you like inside this ermm, Hospital?"

He says, " Well, I would like a lab, 10 patient rooms with all the essentials, A surgery room, A cafeteria, A logic skill room, A chapel, A spacious waiting area, An emergency room, A outdoor area, And a baby nursery and playcenter where the parents can watch and play with their new babys or children that are in the hospital."

You say, " Okay I got it. Any style or budget?"

He says, " Style very modern and budget 300,000 Simoleans."

You say, "Wow that gives we lots of room to be creative. Ill get right on it."

He leaves the office and jumps into his toyota prius to drive away.

You immediatly start brainstorming.

*Challenge will be due Saturday August 22nd at 10am Pacific time.

I'm leaving the hospital for today now. I only just cam up with a floor plan

. It took me about and hour to come up with that

. Then I built the basic shell and it looked hideous!

I need to give my brain a break and try agian tomorrow with a fresh outlook.

This challenge is difficult lol. I know that after this I will most definitely be dropped down a level!
