I have one that I built a while ago. One of my first builds, and I'd like to submit it to be flipped (especially for reroofing and landscaping) -- as well as a redo on interior decoration/design.

I'd love to see what you guys come up with because I made it a while back and thought I liked it, but as I've grown as a builder and learned new tricks.. I've found I don't really like my own creation, sigh.

My only real request is that it stay a beach house. My beach landscaping is horrible. It was meant to be a vacation style home. I think I dislike it because outside of the landscaping, I'm finding my interior decoration a bit boring.

all 3.... the ship has been through a lot from bottle to glass box to a pirate movie set and now finally it has been thrown carelessly onto a lot for refurbishing.

It needs tender loving care on repainting, interior decorating (terrible last interior designer) perhaps adding a town around it and landscaping.

Brief description of your job (What do you want worked on and what do you want left alone?):

Use your imagination on what you like to do with it. Basically at the end of the day, it should still look like a ship.... whether it is floating on water, set in a box, or moved to a larger lot to create a totally new setting, it will be your team choice to create something out of the basic ship.

The idea is if you have a lot you have FINISHED and you are not happy with it and would like it redone, possibly keeping some bits you like but overhauling the stuff you don't, then we can do it for you.

Since these are not finished, they are not elegable as FLIPs (this is stated on the very first page.... FINISHED lots, created by YOU). The reason for this is that there are other places that offer these services and we do not wish to step on anybodies toes or upset any other group of simmers by poaching their customers.They are jobs for SID (Sim Interior Designs) who do scratch requests and would be VERY happy to help you both.

So I'm building an apartment building. There is two staircases running up the middle of the house, one for each apartment. The top of them being two squares away from a wall. That wall has a two square window on it, right in-front of the stairs. How can I keep these two apartments separated without moving the window?

I already moved it, but it looks a tad stupid.

When you flipped it, it was like you had crawled inside my head and captured what I truly wanted and then brought it to fruition. I'm so thrilled with this house. I've been playing it for a bit! It's perfect!

Building: I am happy with the overall shell. I feel that I may not have made as many rooms as I could have or should have. If you see a way to maybe add more playable/usable space, please let me know and we can discuss it.

It could be residential or a community lot as well. It is such a fun creation that I wanted to take it in a fun new direction. I hope you don't mind that I removed the sails. They didn't work for a restaurant because of seating space. It took me hours to figure out how to get them down lol. Your cfe skills are way beyond me!!! Also, in helping someone remodel a lot we are giving constructive criticism. With each flip, we work with the requester to improve their lot. i think amchristian sees this as a little bit of fun which is what it is supposed to be. she would love to see what can be done by another builder. although some people like constructive criticism some people like to see visually what can be done. i don't think there is better way than some other to help a person thats why there is the creative corner, to help all those who seek it.

also when i am on this thread i will try my best to help out simmers who we can not cater for. there are many places who can help and i would be glad to point them in the right direction. a community isn't a community if we don't help each other out

Just to clarify things, Benny, sweetie. You wonderful, amazing, creative, brilliant person! You are right, I don't [i]need[/i] any help per se.. I just wanted to see what they would do with my build. To see some different ideas than mine. To, hopefully, open my range up a bit more.

I am terrible about symmetry. I'm obsessed with it and I want a little help not being so symmetrical, if that makes sense. Lightside has nearly finished the Exterior areas and BreanneStone and myself are going to do the interiors, we are both very excited! . We wanted to run something by you if possible? We thought this lot would be perfect for two Artist type sims who had separate studios and a space to showcase their Art to visitors? Would this be ok?

and for the record, it did have landscaping but I cleared it off so that the lot doesn't get flooded with any flipping cfe changes.... (said in a nice way)

Please don't delete any of the collectibles or paintings, but you can change their displays, locations, etc. This lot isn't technically finished, as it's my legacy house (hence the budget) so I'll hope you'll let me submit it. We need some clarification before I can add this request to the list. What areas do you want working on? I also notice you say "I worked on it a little bit" worked on what?

Those are simplified lists put up just so you know what's happening but they are not the lists we actually use to work out who is doing what job. We have a much longer and more detailed list that contains all the info that you have given us that gets sent round to all the Flippers so we can discuss what we want to do and who is going to do the work. All of that detail is taken out of the simple lists on here to make it easier for you guys to keep track. Unfortunately however, sometimes J can't get on to update the lists (real life getting in the way) so they may not be at the state that we are (just like I was unwell Thursday friday so the main list had to be updated by J).

Lightside finished the exterior and landscaping portion of the flip and Allium has just recently finished up the art studio and garage portion and has now passed the lot on to me for completion. I am currently working on the master suite, as well as the guest suite and will finish with the main living area once I am done with these two rooms.

I will be working on it through out the week, but it may very well be the weekend before I am able to complete it and get it to you. I have some RL obligations to attend to, so I will be slightly more limited on my play time this week. I will try to get it to you ASAP, however, since I know you have been waiting for it. I worked hard on the details but still can't get the roof right or the front landscaping. jisgr8 gave me some tips and hints but it still only feels 80% done.

List any store items you have/want included: I have all of the furniture sets but castle, ultra youth, and tiki. This does not mean you need to use them, but chances are that i did.

You can change everything except the location of the furniture (a bed should be replaced by a same-size bed at it's exact position, same thing with lamps and everything else, though you can remove any decor item), the walls/fences (you can still change the fences' style), the doors and windows (no style change) and the water features (ponds can be removed). You can even add more furniture if you want!

Try to mix elegant colors such as black, white and silver with vibrant tropical colours such as banana yellow, mango orange and guava green. I would also like some items made of wicker and bamboo if possible.

Hi Tasha. It looks like we missed your post. I hope you check back. Silly forum troubles make it hard to catch things sometimes! You do not have to remove the custom content. It won't show up at all in game for us. I'm sorry it's taking so long...I'm a perfectionist and this isn't always a good thing as I will fuss with all of the little details. I've been pestering my poor other Team mates for feedback and they've been wonderful with their suggestions. RL has just had me so busy this last week (I had several assignments due this weekend for some classes that I'm taking) and I then I got sucked in to the BnS Week 16 Waterhaven Remodel (my own fault really...).

Needless to say, it's almost done and I am very happy with the way that it is turning out! I had some times at the begining when I wasn't sure if I was liking it, but now that I've made a few changes, I've really fallen in love with this lot.

So...I have to work all week, but in the evenings I should be able to put a little time in each day. I'm hoping to get it fully finished and to you by the end of Friday. I think that will give me enough time to finish the living room to my standards, take before/after pics, and upload it to our Media Fire account. Does this sound alright? If something comes up and I can't make this deadline, I will contact you through PM at BB and let you know!

Hey White Orca99! I actually worked on this all yesterday evening and I do think its coming along well. Having seen some of your replies some things might need to be tweaked colour wise lol(which is fine!). I have loads still to do! It would be GREAT if you wouldn't mind signing up on either site....You can be a member of both with the same login (they are hosted by the same company). I use SiD more, and on there its a lot of gossiping, links to new Custom content, model comps, general chit chat and some interior design lol. BB I can't keep up with the forum (I have too many!) but there are some LOVELY people on there always ready to help with building advice and I do believe they like to gossip a lot too! Hey Terry,

It seems to me that you might be raising the level of the pool floor above the water level and then leveling the pool. When I raised the ground on the corner of the pool in the tutorial, I used the smallest radius possible and lightly clicked 8 times. You don't necessarily have to do the exact same thing just raise the ground, but keep the pool floor below the water level then level from where you raised.

Also remember that in the tutorial, I leveled the pool after raising the corner from the [b][u]pool floor[/u][/b] not the surrounding terrain.

I'll admit this is craziest build I've done yet. I had a vision when I saw A.M. Christian's original concept and tried my best to achieve that vision. I hope I captured what you had in mind!
