I must say, I never expected to ever have need of this kind of thread. Although I have been in love with The Sims from the very beginning, I have only been an active member of these forums for less than a month. And in that time, I have been amazed and touched by the generosity of the people here. I have been going through quite a lot of turmoil in my personal life, and this community has become a shining beacon for me.

I wish to give my heartfelt thanks to the following people:

Aw hun! You're very welcome. My two main motives for entering contests are 1) It's fun to do and I want to be a part of it and 2) It gives me some extra ammo to hit my friends with, if I'm lucky enough to place!! It's less fun keeping the winnings than it is sharing them!!

I haven't been able to play for a while, either. Between illness, a very old computer and being busy, it's been hard! Luckily my brother took pity on me and bought me a new computer. And I think he should be done migrating everything over sometime tonight or tomorrow. I'm looking forward to playing my game. And I can't wait to see the shoes in game!

Three weeks is a long time! I hope it will be a nice vacation for your whole family. And being busy with the sims will hopefully keep you distracted when you're missing them.

Thank you very much for the *Takes Deep Breath* How I Roll Jeans, Tee is for Teen, Riot Grrrl Teen, Bloomer Blouse, the Lullabies and Nursery Rhymes set and the Al Fresco Street Market set!!! I can't wait to get in my game and try everything out!!! And what great timing on the Street Market. My friend Lissykin told me I really needed to get Monte Vista, and when I do, I had to also get the Street Market set. Well, now that Origin is available for Macs, I was able to take advantage of their $9.99 sale on Monte Vista today! So I'm sure you can imagine how happy I am right now!!!!
