On mine it says there is no disc when I can see there obviously is a disc! It goes through the installation, I guess because I had to hit finish but it never asked for the code either.

Try going to Store > Worlds > Hidden Springs > Redeem Code.

If it still gives you trouble go to Purchase History, I managed to download it from there. I had the exact same problem installing from the disc, except that it would tell me that I needed to update the game, yet I knew I had the latest patch. Here's the solution: I went to my account, redeem a code. Once it redeemed my code, I was able to download it from the regular download page and the install actually installs it correctly now

Heres the solution,

To redeem your Hidden Springs code:

Follow these steps:

1.Go to thesims3.com website.

2.Log-in to your account or sign up for a new account if you do not have one yet.

3.Go to the Hidden Springs world page on The Sims 3 Store: http://store.thesims3.com/hiddenSprings (The "S" must be capitalized)

4.Select the Redeem Code button and enter the serial key that came with the product.

5.Upon success, go to the Purchase History. The link to download the world will be available.

If you have the retail product (disc), follow these steps:

1.Insert the Hidden Springs disc into your PC.

2.Go through install prompts which will update Sims 3, if needed.

3.The Sims 3 Launcher will launch automatically.

4.The Sims 3 Launcher will prompt you to log-in to your existing Sims3.com community account, or to create a new account.

5.Once logged in, the Launcher Code Redemption screen will appear within The Sims 3 Launcher.

6.Enter the Code and select REDEEM.

7.You will get a confirmation screen telling you the code was successfully redeemed. Click the continue button.

8.This opens your purchase history on the Sims 3 website. Click the download button under the Hidden Springs image. (This will be the most recently added item.) If prompted to select a program to open the link, browse to, and select the Sims 3 launcher.

9.Hidden Springs will download in the downloads tab of your launcher, when it is finished, check the check box on the left of the item and press the install button.

10.A smaller window will pop up with an installation progress bar. Once the installation is complete, close the window and launch the game.

11.Hidden Springs is now in the list of selectable towns when creating a new game. If you already TRIED to download it, it probably will be in your Purchase History, anyway, I was having the worst trouble and then i went to Purchase History and it was already there and i hit download and it will open your Sims launcher and be in the uploads, (If you used the exchange before, like me you will know where it is)And it show be downloading.
